  1. Live Tourney.

Villain is an older guy, baseball hat, sun glasses, likes to shake his head when he loses a pot to a younger player.

I had chipped up a lot to this point with some nice steals, showed down AK on a K high board for a small pot. First time I had raised his blind.

    9 Handed Table

    Blinds 250/500 ante 50

    Villain stack 18000

    Hero Stack 16000

Folded around to the Button which is the Hero with ATo, Hero rasies 2.5x to 1250

SB folds. Villain flats from the BB (Pot is now 3200)

Flop A63r. Villain checks, Hero leads for 1400. Villain flats. (Pot 6000)

Hero now sitting on 13300, Villain 15300.

Turn Qd putting 2 diamonds on the board. Villain checks, Hero bets 3400, Villain comes over the top and pushes.

    Whats your line.
  2. he has a BAT,,,,i fn fold and save my last tooth!

I think you are behind at this point
  3. I think villian is way ahead of ATo. May have picked up 2 pair on the turn, or even flatted pre with a pp, and hit it on the flop. It sucks to lose almost half your stack here. I might check the turn and see how the villian plays it, but you are kind of giving up on the hand too.

Tough situation, but I would probably fold, you still have 20 bb's to work with.
  4. as played fold, but check behind on the turn
  5. i dont know if i bet the turn but if i did, im not folding at that point.

Since you said as played I assume you would have played it differently.
How would you have played this hand?
Am I checking the turn and calling a bet on the river if he leads, or folding to a bet?

    Yes, I did call.

  8. I'm actually checking the flop sometimes for deception/pot control, but I bet the flop more often than not. After he calls the flop bet, I'm checking behind and calling most river bets. I'm not too concerned about the second diamond on the turn.
