Okay, so I was playing 2/5NL and we were 6 handed, with a dead SB. One player calls, I call as well(KQs), and then the dealer skips over the big blind without seeing if he wanted to raise or check.
Dealer deals the flop (9TJ), big blind looks at the flop and checks without saying anything about being skipped. Waits a few seconds and before the next player is about to make a bet, he tells the dealer that the dealer skipped him.
Obviously I'm in a good position right now because I flopped what I did. Super comes over, and we explain the hand. I'm not denying that he was skipped pre-flop, but what I'm concerned about is the fact that he checked post flop and THEN complained about being skipped. I know for a fact that he has 77 or 88, due to the fact that he complained post-flop, obviously not liking what he saw.
I said we should play the hand as it is because he already made a subsequent decision before complaining, but the supervisor says no, we're going to make a change. I say to just call it a dead hand because its unfair, and then obviously they say no and what they're going to do is allow BB to make a bet and then reshuffle the flop and deal it again.
I fold, because its obvious I won't make that hand again. He gets one caller, and ends up flopping his set of 8s.
Am I right in this situation, or did the supervisor make the right decision? -
Im not positive, but since action occured, the hand should of continued.
I think that has happened before in a hand I was in and the hand was played out.
