  1. Pretty simple, I get 10% of his winnings, he would get 10% of mine. I don't know the guy very well, but trust issues don't need to be brought up because we would be signing an agreement. I'm leaning towards not taking the deal. Am I correct to assume that if I believe I am the better player taking this deal is -ev long term, therefore I should not take the deal? What do you guys think? If it matters 1st is gonna be somewhere around 200K for the tourney.

  2. if its a 1 time deal i dont think theres any harm. i think it adds to the tourney expierience .if you bust out you still have a shot at a nice score and if he busts out before you, u have some positive energy on your side. If you are that much better and you did it in every tourney you play you would definitly be giving up some value..

you know if you dont do it now that guys is gona win the tourney
  3. Sounds fishy to me.
  4. a good way to reduce variance between two players close to equal in skill...obv if you think your roi in said tournament is much higher than his, then you're throwing away equity trading %'s with him

  5. if u dont do it, hes going to win the tournament
  6. Well... using that logic, if I take the deal he won't even cash the tourney, so it sounds like a lose lose situation.
