so a couple of weeks ago i took my laptop over to grind at a friends house. He was having trouble depositing on full tilt so i sent him $50 and they insta closed his account. since then he sent in all the documentation they asked for and his accoutn was reopened.
Fast forward to today when he has another day off work so i go over with my stuff to grind another day, he logs onto full tilt when i am already logged in and they close his account yet again.
Is this a common problem?? i thought people played in the same IP all the time?? -

I play on FT, with three or four of us playing from the same wifi connections, at multiple locations. Even the same MTTs. Pretty sure that they have filters in place for playing the same STT or ring game (obv).

Ya i used to do this all the time with my high school buddies. Was never a problem for me.

I was always under the assumption that two accounts + same IP = no no. So I'm not sure, unless things have changed, I've never tried either though. I just thought it was an immediate disconnect or message noting that two accounts are on the same IP.

Nope. Lots of guys do it when sharing houses/rooms when on the curcuit.

I think the smallest field u can play together is 90mans, might be wrong about that but u can defo play 180 mans together.
Also OP weird u got a problem I used to play around mates houses without any problems at all.
