  1. Im pretty sure my only session of sngs today I started out busting 38 sngs before I had one cash ($6.50 45 turbos). I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on how to play 45 man turbos and seriously cannot see any way this should happen in real life...

Whats your worst one day downswings in these? My worst was a 75+ buyin downswing in one session a couple yrs ago playin the $3s. Although I finished that session up quite a bit.
Should add my id on stars is Brook20 for anyone interested in berating me for being a donk..
  2. LOL that's pretty gross, I actually had a nasty swing mid-sesh today, dropped 35 ABI (was mixing $6's and $12's) in a 60 game span, sigh. I did lose focus a bit when I was going through it but whatever, it happens. Salvaged the day for like 16 ABI though.

congrats bro, but correct me if im wrong i think your going for buyin instead of ABI
  4. yea 45 man swings suck ass. Im running like shit in those. I have like a 26-27% ROI in the $12's for over 1K games. But in the $6.50s only have a 10% over 1k games. I dont get it.

Nah you got it, I played like a $10.29 ABI today with the mix, so the swing was $360 and the final profit was like $165 or something.

MBN to run hotter in the higher stake game, I'm running like 27% in the $6's and 6% in the $12's

EDIT: Small samples though so no biggie obv
  7. Sigh I feel like Ive ran like shiz in the 12s for my small sample, but as is I make more playin the 6.5s with much much less swongs.
I know this may sound stupid but I feel like the diff in difficulty between the 6.5s and 12s is pretty huge..

Will agree to say that the skill difference between $6's and $12's is surely the largest of jumps in the 45's.
  9. For real I never seem to get the "courtesy" double ups in the 12s. Just about everytime I wake up and have 1100 chips and blinds are 200

  10. im on soooicidez watch.

  11.  I dropped 120 BIs in a day once and an additional 50 the next day for a total of 170 in 400 games.  Was very frustrating.  That stretch was in a 1000 game break even in a game I had an 18% ROI in after the stretch.  45 mans can steal your soul if you aren't careful.

Also, whoever said that the jump from 6 to 12 is the best in skill I happen to agree.
  12. if this is the same brook20 that used to crush a couple years ago. your game is fine. you used to be my fav grinder back in the day. the 45mans have gotten a heck of a lot harder. the varance is greater then a couple years ago.
  13. 70-150 buyin downswings are completely normal

  14. I dont know how much different 90 man KO sngs are, but I have had 3 downswings of 75 buyins or more in the last 4 months, including a 2 week-100 buyin downer and a 2 day 80 buyin downer during my first 2500 games. Variance can be a bitch sometimes.
