  1. She continues to amaze me....

    Red Pro Forums

I think she starts "contributing" on the second page.
  2. She strikes me as a girl who can be realllll bitchy.

  5. i think albeit she is kinda bitchy sometimes she can actually play poker SOMETIMES...i mean i think her A game is decent, but rarely can play it. For instance she has won 2-3 poker after darks, and being winner take all against usually solid fields thats pretty good...IMO...but most of the time she sucks
  6. winning single tables tournaments is less than impressive

  7. Never heard of him.
  8. winning 10k winner take 1tables against solid pros isn't impressive...? hmm you need to re evaluate
  9. Ive seen some pretty bad players on PAD so calling them solid is wrong, and even if they were it doesnt take much to win a single table tourney. I dont care what the take is.

  10. lol. i cant believe she is really that bad. it was nice however to read a thread with nothing but rational and well thought answers from (mostly) world class players. Clonie was clearly the only one that didnt belong in that thread based on her response.

    she is lol bad

as for the hand its self, i think its a standard shove, esp oop against BG

  11. If by "mish mash", you mean some really good analysis of different aspects of an interesting hand from some of the best tournament players in the world...then by all means, skip it.

  13. i mean hellmuth does stuff that is wrong mathematically, yet he is a good player.

so yeah this hand is definitely wrong but if she plays outstanding post flop poker its possible she is a winning player. (im not saying she is because i never played with her - but just giving the counter argument)

anyways, I'm not really defending her but lots of live players dont understand the math of these situations like the online pros do. say what you, will but if you play live against a standard opponent they won't even understand the meaning of the math dictated a call or whatever. its not to say they cant be decent players, but alot of them have not looked at poker that way.

thing is until you multitable like 10 tourneys at a time and want/need to win you don't really start looking into this stuff.

but yeah its possible you could be an excellent cash game player and not understand the math of it if you never play short stack poker.

    that is all.
  14. i love isaac baron, possibly the best NLHE tourney player in the world's reponses to clonies reasoning lol
  15. <SPAN class=Apple-style-span>"Nice work, Todd.<SPAN class=Apple-converted-space> </SPAN>

You did a much better job of explaining what I was thinking than I ever could. On a funny note: Getting in the mind of a woman and understanding her is dangerous territory. Just a warning: LOOK UP! Because I think you might get hit by a big beer can.<SPAN class=Apple-converted-space> </SPAN>

Some of the new members of this forum seem to have problems dealing with their own anger.

1: FYI I dont usually play more than 6 tables, although that is enough for me to make more in one year than you'll ever make flipping burguers.

2: I stop reading in the part that says : He is a good player. From a non-results-oriented stand point, Phil Helmutt is not good at poker.

Funny thing, yesterday a friend of mine and I were talking about the 11 bracelets holder, and the fact that I'd have really hard times sitting at his table. I just can't stand him, his antics, his retarded berating, and pretty much anything related to him.

    Edit: Here's an example:

  20. She really might be the worst.
  21. I always thought Clonie was bad, Bbut WOW at every response she made in that thread. No wonder Full tilt gave her the boot. Turning decent hands like 88 into absolute bluffs of rr/folding is one of the worst things you can do as a tourney player and I just assumed any decent player realized that.

Note to self....4 bet Clonie if she ever reraises from the blinds to a late position open, lol.

Eddie- you musta missed the PAD episode where exactly that was hellmuths line of thinking and she calls his shove with a monster. CUe Phil tirade of having studied all previous PAD Film blah blah ....Cue eddie ranting about her forum post lol.

ACtually, I don't remember her holding there but she explained on that episode that while she might 3bet light in that spot she also had to make the same play with a monster to balance range out. THat explanation made some sense.

  23. Yeah I'm sure she shows up with a hand but its just comical she can 3 bet a hand like 88 from the blinds acing a button raise basically to "find out where she is at" lol - Oh Clonie...

Definitely some good stuf in that thread, everyone ranting about reading through the thread is pretty comical since there are some of the brightest poker minds out thre commenting on a pretty interesting situation. So she basically needs an absolute monster to call a 4 bet when she 3 bets out of the blinds....not very balanced.

Please don't tell me I was thinking like Hellmuth ever again;)

I dont think she knows how to balance her range, anyone can rr/call with monsters but only the most elite can rr/fold with hands like 88 and 25 effective bbs facing a button raise!

    sarcasm right?

  26. who cares?? she is fckin hot, oh wait...

  27. Andressoprano,

Conrats on your score a few weeks back but I do not understand how you can possibly state Phil Hellmuth is not good at poker. He may do some very weird things as far as playing hands but he is easily one of the best people reader's in the game and a great NL hold em tounrament player..IMO.

    Again...congrats on score.

  28. #1) Nice to see a forum where people aren't attacking each other even when they disagree

#2) I can't imagine doing anything other than shoving in that spot. Out of position, stack sizes, skilled opponent etc., my brain chemistry would make me shove if my body tried to do anything else.
