First hand of day i raise w 8c-7c, and call reraise
Unreal hand!! I tell guy I will beat him, then i raise w J-8, he calls, flop Q-10s-9s, i bet 1800, he makes it 5300, i call, turn 4s.
I check he bets 5600, i call, river 5s! i check now because 4th spade on board, bad player checks. I say straight, he has Kc-Qs for flush!
Believe what you want 3 VERY POORLY PLAYED HANDS! -
are you rly talking shit about him flatting Aces in the mE?
-
ABSOFKNLUTELY! WITH THAT MANY PLAYERS BEHIND HIM!? IF HE RERAISES HE IS STILL IN! LOL GENIUS
And you said it THE MAIN EVENT! no time to outplay yourself.. Just raise with your hand and either take it down or at the very least go heads up! -
By the way PH is my Favorite Tournament NLHE Player BY MILES.. but he played these hands horribly and I am not afraid to SAY it..
-
It is unbelievable to me you guys think FLAT CALLING with your aces is the move LOL.. yes yes I agree aces are always best played against multiple opponents.. Me? I like to take my aces up against 5 or 6 other hands.. That way I can easily be outflopped and lose my entire stack to a hand I priced in LOL
Internet players.. SHEESH
I TRULY HOPE you guys are leveling! lol -
guy is opening 23k..@ 3/6k phil only has 140ish..with a caller ther eis nearly 55k in the pot dead.....and if he shoves original raiser....has to call 115 ish...into a pot of nearly 200k...and is probably calling flatting here is horrid esspecially in a 3 way pot

Thank god a poker player has posted...! Thank you -
Was probably pretty marginal for him to flat AA considering his stack size and position, but I'm sure someone would give him all their chips if they hit top pair (kinda depends how competant the player who opened was etc) However, DTrounder your a complete moron if you think flatting AA is bad in every situation. Proceed with your ABC play and gtfo.

I doubt DTRounder is a real person

IMO phil does this way to often, he tries to use his "superb reading skills" against people that may or may not know what the hell they are doing. fwiw i am always reraising here for one reason, I dont want to play AA three\four way after I lost the opportunity to help define my opponents hand. AA simply isnt that strong when it misses the flop against that many opponents. All I can think is, yes phil he did play Q9 because he had 4:1 pot odds, position, and 100:1 implied odds... IDK hes better than I am OBV but I dont think he is as good as he thinks he is, he just gets in his own way so much. He leaves me shaking my head sometimes, thiniking WTF just happened.

really nothing wrong with calling a reraise with 87cc when you are as deep as you are in the main. lol gl to u tho, and no, none of us are leveling, we all hate helmuith as much as you but u r just a dummy sir

phil helmuth (0 main event chips) is a great player and the flat with AA is fine.
-gbmantis (304k main event chips obv brag post!!****) -
Bottom line YES FLAT CALLING ACES can be very profitable.. but not at a full table where flat calling will PRICE IN 3 OTHER CALLERS.. so you can take your alphabet and shove it up your flatcall LOL.. You guys can all flat call with your aces and invite the table into the pot.. I think I'll continue to WIN with my aces until I become bored of dragging pots.. at which point I will take your advice LOL HAHAHA LOL
-
You continue to take your same stance on the situation and continue laughing at posters even after you have had multiple top players and ranked pros contradict you. wp. you are a joke.

Way too risky in this spot with his stack and probably the entire table trying to bust him, meaning multiple extra callers from behind.
I like flatting AA in certain spots, this would not be one of them.
JT on flop with 5 people seeing a flop AA is going to be in deep shit more often than it's not as well. -

PERIOD..
I have won alot more than that 3500 tourny.. and I DO NOT play online, hence the reason for no screen names. I am a brick and mortar player. ( not to mention I am not exactly a fan of giving people I may eventually have to play against, knowledge of my past wins ) And I do not consider anyone a top player who advocates flat calling in THIS PARTICULAR spot. He already has a target on his back. I MYSELF want to get heads up with the raiser or drag the pot right there.. PERIOD! I could care less what any of you think I have not and NEVER WILL flat call at a full table w/AA when there is a chance I may invite people into the pot! I'M DONE RESPONDING "LOL". And yes I WILL continue to laugh at anyone who advocates flat calling in THIS PARTICULAR POSITION! I do not care if Stuey Ungar raises from the dead and says flat calling is the move.. I WILL LAUGH IN HIS FACE as I do yours! PERIOD -
Can a mod pls lock this before i go on forum tilt
