1.
Shaun Deeb Eliminated

A raising war had already broken out when we came upon Shaun Deeb's table. Deeb put in a reraise to 13,275 from late position and Corwin Cole reraised again to 29,750. After tanking for a minute or so, Deeb moved all in for about 60,000 and Cole snap-called.

Deeb
Cole

Deeb turned around and started walking away as soon as he saw the flop come down . The turn was the , the river was the and Deeb's Main Event was at an end.

Everyone there is calling him a donk. Obv Deeb is better than I'll ever be, so it's hard to criticize his play, but this definitely makes you wonder. There had to be a siiiiiiiick metagame going on between these two for him to feel like he had fold equity here. I dunno, what do you guys think?

2. I think that he knew he had no fold equity but thought his hand was ahead. Obviiously, he was incorrect.

3. This hand is so lololol

obv shauns much better then the people criticizing him, but there is a chance shaun deeb might even admit its bad (prob not but a chance).

Also this is cking too lazy to switch to my account

4. his thought process =

"if i win this hand i double up, if i lose it i ship 50k+ online tonight"

5. It's terrible, and Corwin Cole is pretty decent from my live experiences with him (Idk if he plays online or not)

6. obviously shaun has to think he is ahead to push, one would assume. (although live players make some crazy folds sometimes)

you don't get all the details of the hand so theoretically it could have been a CO raise from an aggressive player and than deeb reraises. its possible.

from playing live this year, though it seems players are so much more passive than online especially preflop. i.e they don't 3 bet or 4 bet unless they have it. they are alot more inclined to flat behind stuff like JJ and AK. just saying obviously might have nothing to do with this hand.

Corwin Cole isn't some live random idiot, and I am sure Shaun knows that so you can throw that theory out the window. Secondly, the reporting sucks and I'd be willing to bet the 13,000ish reraise was a 4bet so it wasn't just like he was 3betting a late position raiser.

Online he would have made trip nines on the flop and then just to add insult to injury a flush on the river.
12. You don't get TLB's from the ME.
13. I wouldn't call the guy a donk but it looks like an impulse bet. I doubt he thought he was ahead but probably thought he could get a fold. sounds like it was a move more out of frustration.

Corwin is a msnl pro for CardRunners known as VitalMyth. He made a deep run in the SCOOP ME a couple months back as well
