retarded, i dont see why u cant agree to go all in if u announce it to the table? if anything your helping them, this happens all the time in live rebuys, players are always trying to work out ways to go all in in certain situations (folded to them in blinds, etc.) stupid rule from stars imo and would love to hear their reasoning behind it

It's pretty much bullshit that Poker stars has rules and actually tries to enforce them.

What is the rule? All I see is that PS is askig about unusual playing patterns.
Is the rule you cannot push cards unless they are strong/ good starting hands?
Is the rule you cannot go weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee when you push ?

Hello Annette,

We recently received a report regarding an agreement you made in
chat with 'charder30' in tournament #95822710.

At issue is the agreement that you and 'charder30' would both go all-in on
the next hand.

Such agreements violate tournament rule # 9 which states in part...

"Poker is an individual (not a team) game. Any action or chat intended
to help another player is unethical and is prohibited."

In future tournaments please refrain from making any comments that could
be construed as suggesting or agreeing to cooperative play between
players. It is against the rules to assist or to suggest that anyone else
assist
another player.

There is no question as to the inappropriate nature of the agreement
and subsequent discussion between 'charder30' and yourself.

Had the survivor of the all-in match gone on to finish in the money, they
would have been disqualified. Since neither of you finished in the money,
disqualification is not an option.

As this is your second such offence of the same nature the decision has
been made to suspend your account for a period of one month. The intent
of this "suspension" is to emphasize that what you and ‘charder30’ did was
a serious violation of our tournament rules. At the same time it takes
into account that this decision was most likely made without malicious
intent.

Your play privileges will be restored on the 21st of August 2008 at
12:00am.

Please read our tournament rules from the link provided above and
acknowledge you understand and agree to abide by them in the future.

You are a valued player at PokerStars and I'm sure you understand that
these rules are in place to insure the integrity of our games for all
