hello all! i was looking to head down to the casino to play some cash games this weekend. wanted some advice on where i should go? im in the akron ohio area (ya ya f lebron) anyway i know 3 casinos in PA that are about 2 hours away just opened up poker rooms and there is one about the same distance away in west virginia. so my choices are presque isle downs, rivers casino, the meadows which are all in PA, or mountaneer in WV. anybody been to these poker rooms yet? which have the most action, im probably gonna play 1-2nl and possibly some 2-5nl. any of these casinos have 510nl? any tournies offered at any of these places? thanks in advance for the help. really just want to know which place ppl prefer most....thx again

You'll probably have more success in Miami.

The Rivers poker room has been packed recently. Its really nice (ive only been to Wheeling as a comparison). They have 1/3 but I would guess with all the traffic they probably run 2/5 also. They are not offering tournies right now but hopefully that changes in the near future.

I've only been to Mountaineer, and although it was a positive session, the room itself sucked. You have to take a shuttle from the actual casino to the poker room. It doesn't have a casino feel at all to it. It feels like it's in your buddies basement.

Don't know anything about Rivers.
Presque Isle just opened their rooms, as you mentioned above, so I would think they would be pumping in the opening weeks, no?
I'd check out Presque Isle if I were you. -
fk it u are right i think i'll take my talents to miami, at least delonte west wont be there and im takin my mama with me
haha in all serious thx for the replies, hmmmm rivers sounds good, so i guess its between rivers and presque isle. can i get a review on presque...anyone know anything about there poker room? -
presque isle downs doesn't have poker. Theres a good room down town cleveland. 30 tables always filled with 1-2 and 2-5. also there is a daily tourny. nautica charity poker http://www.nauticacharitypoker.org/ its really not that bad, your not aloud to tip dealers, but from a Clevelander its well worth the 20 min drive then going to Detroit or WV. Mountaineer is a nice big room, i was there for the tourny serise for one day. Wasnt much cash games maybe like 5-6 tables.
Oh yeah, FUCK lebron hes a piece of dirt. He went south, his mama went WEST!! -
thx man i just moved to the area, didnt know about that room in cleveland def gonna check it out.
did u hear about the new lebron phone? it vibrates but doesnt have a ring
it doesn't work in Cleveland and doesn't accept calls from the WEST! -
This is all true. Rivers is a very nice casino, and 1/3 and 2/5 are always full and they're usually running 5/10 (and sometimes 10/20).

(PS, MadTiger, born in Akron, says Luck FeBron, too!) -
Hey man, I've lived around the Akron erae my whole life. Anytime my roommates and I went anywhere we usually went up to Detroit. A little trashier and closer to 3 hrs away, but they have a few places to choose from and we found the cash games there to be much softer than Windsor for whatever reason. PM me if you need anything!

Go to Mountaineer. period. You do NOT have to take a shuttle to the poker room. You can fucking drive around to it yourself. The games are ridiculously soft. You could make a living just playing 1-2 there let alone 2-5. Fuck Detroit.
