  1. Does anyone else have this problem? I figure it has to be a problem with my POS Dell laptop, but wonder if anyone knows a solution. Sometimes I can play on tilt for a few hours and not have any problems, other times, I can play for ten minutes and lose sound. It's rather annoying. Any ideas?
  2. dude!!!!!!!!!!!

i got a dell 8600 inspiron laptop, old as shit,, like 6yrs,,,and i have the exact same problem as you do!!!!!

my solution/answer for me : i mazimize my sprint wireless card screen and then minimize it, a loud ass sound happens and then you have all your sound back!

let me know if this helps

  3. It must be a problem with Dell's soundcard. Sometimes I can get it to work by causing some other sound (sending an e-mail to my yahoo account when logged in, or by trying to play media player, etc.) and sometimes it simply won't work, like tonight.

  4. i think its time for us to get new ones

  5. just shake the laptop til the sound comes out, its like a vending machine when your bubblegum gets stuck.
  6. what you have to do is just load youtube or any video/something that makes sound and the sound will come back on...I have something on my favorites I hit everytime the sound goes out and magically my sound on fulltilt is back
  7. wow this is such a weird computer problem! I thought my sound card was going bad or my drivers were bad so i reformatted...turns out it was my headphones and a sound driver setting GG Windows.
  8. I have a crappy ass Dell Latitude X300 laptop....and sometimes I get no sound at all (like at all)....to get sound I turn it off for like 30 minutes to let it cool down, this is a bucket of CRAP!!! The screen also jiggles like a loose tooth, the keypad gets to be about 130, and once a month I get a blue screen...Dell BLOWS...
  9. Just play a song on repeat on media player and mute it, that seems to keep the sound going

This is almost always true for me as well. Inspiron 6000 Dell laptop and the sound pisses me off.
  11. Thanks for the responses. I'll try playing something on Media Player to see if that keeps my sound going. It's odd that this only happens when I'm playing on Tilt, so it must be something related to their site. Maybe my comp is telling me not to play on Full Tilt. hehe
