  1. I play low limit turbo HU SNGs on FT ($6 + .25) and I'm constantly running into the same situation. I'm a LAG player by nature and generally it works well. However, I keep encountering the same thing and it has caused me to become more passive, which I hate.

I'm raising a wide range of hands from the button to 2.5xBB and if its checked to me on the flop, I almost always cbet (if opponent is a maniac, obv proceed differently). Even the low limit donks adjust to the cbetting pretty quickly and start floating. I'm torn between continueing a bluff on the turn or checking and allowing the opponent to take the pot. Lately I've just stopped cbetting as much and I don't continue to bluff if I get called on the flop.

As a result I think I'm giving too many free cards to my opponents, any suggestions?

I also find it much harder to play against an opponent who will raise a LOT of pots and cbet VERY VERY often. It seems pretty obvious that I have to tighten up against these players and re-raise them with a wider range, does this sound correct?
  2. At this level I would tighten way the f*ck up. Just play ABC poker and you should grind out a profitable ROI
  3. The players you mention at the end, may overcall too often. They have an aggressive style, but get accustomed to the action. They may not be able to distinguish between seeing a flop with a large pot that they have raised into or called into. This is something to exploit when you have the goods.

I dont understand what you mean by 'tightening up' and 'reraising with a wider range'. Seems to me they are opposing concepts.
  4. Karnage, I like what you have to say there. Basically you seem to be saying to tighten up and bet/raise in larger amounts than usual because these players may have a tendancy to put too much money in the pot out of position and as a caller.

What I meant by tighten up is to be making my initial raise with stronger hands and folding some of the mediocre hands. However, some hands that I would fold/call against a normal player, I might be willing to re-raise against these players. AJ and A10 are pretty good examples, against a normal player, I might call a raise and proceed from there. Against a very aggro player, these become reraise/allin hands. However, a hand like J7ss would get folded, where I might play this hand against a normal player because I could control the size of the pot.

Thats what I meant by tighten up, but also widen my reraise range.

If that seems like a bad idea, or I'm not making sense, please call me out.
