First, I will compare/contrast the sites' structures in regard to one-table SNGs.
Similarities:
- opponents' strength
- length of game
- game selection
Differences:
- antes (Full Tilt has none)
- blind levels (Full Tilt has more, in shorter periods)
It doesn't seem like one strategy could be used on both sites with the same amount of success. I would like to know how to best adjust to the differences in the structures.
Main questions:
Is there a case for raising more hands at one site than another?
Is shoving light decidedly less profitable on FTP (due to no antes) than it is at pokerstars?
Finally, should the general approximation of shoving @ 10BBs be adjusted at either of these sites due to the unique conditions?
I ask because I have been bubbling more than I'd like on FTP. I think it may be because of "light" shoves at around 10BBs, but even lighter calls have helped as well. Do I keep shoving w/ K4s from the small blind, even though A3 and QJ will call me down all day? My M is still increasing by one with each shove, so maybe I am just looking at this the wrong way. -
Use M to determine your shoving range. I play both structures the same, using M instead of BB.
