    They are both made up by simple minded people that need to believe there is something greater than them that is uncontrollable and out of their hands because they cannot accept the reality that we are just floatin around on a big rock (for religion) or you just suck at poker (for luck).     if it counts extra I didn't even read the HH I posted, it might not even be a bad beat for all I know, I just went to the bad beats section and copy/pasted the first thread I saw, I'm still not looking at the HH on general principal.

    It might take a stronger minded person to actually humble themselves and come to the realization that there is something in the universe more important than themselves and that they are actually truely accountable for thier actions. Your claim of religion = simple minds is completly groundless.

    How can you think luck doesn't exist? Do you play poker? I see people getting extremely lucky and unlucky all of the time, but maybe that's just me.
