I'm looking into getting a nice setup for Mtting, I've considered doing a quickie 2monitor setup (I think you can pick up 22 or 24 inch monitors for like $250-$300 on ebay) but I'm thinking 3-4 monitors is really ideal. My range of purchase is about $2k and looking at this one:

Does anyone else have a sick setup that they can share here? It's obv. an investment so I'd like to hear some thoughts on preferences and why.
Thanks,

I have two 22in Acer factory refurb monitors I got from tigerdirect for 135 each. I am planning on adding a cheap video card so that I can get a 3rd dvi output so I can add a 3rd 22in monitor.

i have 2 19" dell monitors...i 8 table MTT's all day easily...im gonna get a 3rd...probably a 24" that ill just put in the middle...but 2 is fine
edit: i think they are 19? maybe 22...im really not sure -
Seems a little unncessary for almost a $2k price. I use two 24"s (picture) and it's been plenty sufficient for mass multi-tabling, I can fit 18 comfortably. What's the average number of tables you plan on running? For about 1/3rd of the price on that link you can get two nice 24"s or even three 22"s for pretty cheap.
Btw, check out this deal form TigerDirect. 24" for only $200. -
Dual 24"s works well for me; however, I'm not a MAD multi-tabler. I rarely play more than 10 tables.
With that Trio22w you'd be getting ripped off imo. 3 22"s will cost you like $150 a pop, $2k just so they're "integrated together" or whatever is kind of a gag. It's cool looking, yes, but you can get quality dual 27"s for that price, or 3 24"s for ~$1k. -
i have one 24inch but want to get a 28inch also so i can multi up to about 28tables with no overlap. ( i like to see all of my tables.)
-
i run dual 24's and play up to 15 tables at full resolution and have no problems at all...

I just bought a Viewsonic 28" HD 1080p for $529. Little pricey but amazing difference. I am starting to multi table and space it gives you is unreal.

That crap is rediculously overpriced. You'd be crazy to pay for that garbage its marked up like 300%.

I'm probably going to avg. about 10-12, I know most people do stacking or something similar (I do that right now) but it really would be nice to just make an investment into good monitors. Plus I'm VERY big on being able to see as many tables as I can. Then there's always the typical email-checking etc.
I do agree 2k is a lot esp. considering I could throw together some individual monitors and play off those. Thats really the big question for me right now. -
I agree with a lot of the other posts - that trio is a lot more $$ than it's worth. You could get 3 27.5"s for much less: http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16824254026
I would check out www.techbargains.com a few times a week until you find the perfect deal for you. -
i have 2 28s (1920x1200), and 1 22'(1680x1050). I can fit 18 big tables on the monitor and use the 22 for everything else...another monitor would be way too much. Maybe ill take a picture later and post
