Gotta give props to taylor for posting at least a couple times during/after losing sessions. When I'm losing I don't even want to talk to anyone--much less post on a website.
But Sooo many people like to follow the big games it is a nice feeling to have one of the players explain his situation. -
thanks for the support.
honestly, i believe to be successful at poker you need to detach yourself from the game once you leave the table. i really try not to let wins or losses at the table affect me as soon as i leave the table.
one way to work on this is to objectively post about interesting hands that have transpired. i would suggest to anyone looking to improve that they objectively talk about their hands (especially the bad ones) ASAP after they happen. the emotional control gained from this exercise should help you the next time you are at the table and feel the urge to tilt. if you always can stay detached from your table results, you should never tilt.

I must say that I try hard to detach myself from the table after losses. I have developed a "poker wall" near where I usually play on the laptop. After one of these losses, I am prone to "detach myself" by punching another HOLE in my "poker wall".

Thanks for posting Taylor. I always wonder what you guys are holding after a showdown and the cards are mucked. Thanks again.

acnt u just goto hand history and look? or is that reserved for whilst u played the hand, never tried

You must be seated at table to see the calling losing hand. Observers will just see that the player mucked.
