  1. Rain Khan ---is this the same guy who has a video on Youtube playing 26 SNGs on stars?

    <OBJECT height=350 width=425><PARAM NAME="movie" VALUE="http://www.youtube.com/v/X61dIrAmrz4"><PARAM NAME="wmode" VALUE="transparent"> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/X61dIrAmrz4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></OBJECT>
  2. I was wondering that as well when I checked the leaderboard earlier.
  3. yup...that's him from what the blogs and sites say...
  4. "For 4 months I was doing that shit 6-7 sessions a day and I WAS BANKIN!!" I am now rooting for this guy to win the main event.

  5. yah Imperium and I played a 1k at Bellagio with him. he's a lot of fun. NOT weak-tight.....

  6. Hmmmm - not to rain on his parade - but if you post your antics on youtube you're inviting commentary. According to sharkscope RainKhan has played 19,936 SNGs on pokerstars with an average stake of $123. His Average Profit has been -$2 giving him a Total Profit of -$39,247.
Not really validation that multi tabling 24 or 26 at a time is the way to go.
  7. He can paly 24-26 sngs profitably just not at the higher levels...he was doing good until he moved up
    1
  8. He's a good player.
  9. ^^^obvious brag post about playing with Imper1um

    lol jk
  10. The Main Event chip leader is gus hansen tho....
    1
  11. I never questioned his poker ability, only the statement on the youtube post that "I was BANKING", which I incorrectly assumed to be a good thing, but wasn't sure, so I wanted to look him up.
If "BANKING" actually meant going to the bank to get money - then peace.
  12. party pooper
  13. hard to brag when 2 of 3 the three P5ers from that 1k FT are deep in the Main event with big stacks and the third is in Boca Raton, Florida eating a margarita grilled chicken breast (from Chili's -- yum)....

  14. Well, inm that particular video, I am pretty sure he was playing the $16 turbos not $100+. I believe he did make a large amount of money playing smaller stakes, but obv. lost some loot on his way up.

  15. someone post his sharkscope plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  16. I think the relevent word is "WAS".. he WAS banking..he moved up stakes and wasn't banking any longer.
  17. post, what rap said
  18. So his name is actually Rain Kahn?
  19. No it's Hevad Khan. z7-Rain for Starcraft, RaiNKhaN for stars.
  20. I tried to cut and paste from sharkscope with no luck. Someone less technically challenged than me will need to post the charts etc. Mr Khan was up $50K for the first 10,000 SNGs, but down $90K for the next 10,000.
  21. So OBV he WAS BANKING, now the bank is CLAIMING on him

  22. ^^^^Holy Crap
  23. Poker news shows Gus Hansen leading w/ 630k
  24. he is a supernova player in pokerstars btw l33333333333333333333tttt pwnage wiiiiiii
  25. BANKIN!
  26. http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/ne...sp?newsID=1570

Start of Day 3 chip counts. Some notables (plus I'm too lazy to look through the whole thing)...

    Mizzi - 457,100
    Bax - 346,400
    colson10 - 391,700
    dmmikkle - 313,000

and of course, top person from Ohio (whomever this is)...
    Ryan Elson 301,400

I decided to put together bax's table (going by the above link which lists how things started in the day):

    Bax’s table (7):

    1 – Robert Starkey (US) – 200,800

    2 – Bax – 346,400

    3 – Jesper Hougaard (<st1:country-region w:st="on">Denmark</st1:country-region>) – 253,100

    4 – Daniel Snowden (US) – 230,400

    5 – Brian Curtis (US) – 145,600

    6 – Michael Barclay (US) – 56,500

    7 – Randy Jacobson (US) – 187,000

    8 – Nicholas Cunnane (<st1:country-region w:st="on">Ireland</st1:country-region>) – 121,900

    9 – J.C. Tran (US) – 184,800

I like how this table sets for him. He's the CL, and the only name pro is two to his right (although JC may try to steal his blind, but Bax will repop him, plus steal everyone elses).
  27. lol guess its nto him

    <h3 id="no27067">Mr. Rain</h3>
Jeff "Mr. Rain" Banghart lost 120,000 on the first hand to David Wells. He's won a big pot since then and jumped back up to 520,000.
  28. <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td>Hevad Khan</td><td></td><td>592500</td></tr></tbody></table>
    different guy
  29. mrrain != rainkhan and nobody claimed otherwise.
  30. I listed a few others here. Lots of "notables" in the top 100 going into day 3.
