Rain Khan ---is this the same guy who has a video on Youtube playing 26 SNGs on stars?
<OBJECT height=350 width=425><PARAM NAME="movie" VALUE="http://www.youtube.com/v/X61dIrAmrz4"><PARAM NAME="wmode" VALUE="transparent"> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/X61dIrAmrz4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></OBJECT> -
I was wondering that as well when I checked the leaderboard earlier.
-
yup...that's him from what the blogs and sites say...
-
Hmmmm - not to rain on his parade - but if you post your antics on youtube you're inviting commentary. According to sharkscope RainKhan has played 19,936 SNGs on pokerstars with an average stake of $123. His Average Profit has been -$2 giving him a Total Profit of -$39,247.
Not really validation that multi tabling 24 or 26 at a time is the way to go. -
He can paly 24-26 sngs profitably just not at the higher levels...he was doing good until he moved up
-
He's a good player.
-
^^^obvious brag post about playing with Imper1um
lol jk -
I never questioned his poker ability, only the statement on the youtube post that "I was BANKING", which I incorrectly assumed to be a good thing, but wasn't sure, so I wanted to look him up.
If "BANKING" actually meant going to the bank to get money - then peace. -
I think the relevent word is "WAS".. he WAS banking..he moved up stakes and wasn't banking any longer.
-
post, what rap said
-
So his name is actually Rain Kahn?
-
I tried to cut and paste from sharkscope with no luck. Someone less technically challenged than me will need to post the charts etc. Mr Khan was up $50K for the first 10,000 SNGs, but down $90K for the next 10,000.

Start of Day 3 chip counts. Some notables (plus I'm too lazy to look through the whole thing)...
Mizzi - 457,100
Bax - 346,400
colson10 - 391,700
dmmikkle - 313,000
and of course, top person from Ohio (whomever this is)...
Ryan Elson 301,400
I decided to put together bax's table (going by the above link which lists how things started in the day):
Bax’s table (7):
1 – Robert Starkey (US) – 200,800
2 – Bax – 346,400
3 – Jesper Hougaard (<st1:country-region w:st="on">Denmark</st1:country-region>) – 253,100
4 – Daniel Snowden (US) – 230,400
5 – Brian Curtis (US) – 145,600
6 – Michael Barclay (US) – 56,500
7 – Randy Jacobson (US) – 187,000
8 – Nicholas Cunnane (<st1:country-region w:st="on">Ireland</st1:country-region>) – 121,900
9 – J.C. Tran (US) – 184,800
I like how this table sets for him. He's the CL, and the only name pro is two to his right (although JC may try to steal his blind, but Bax will repop him, plus steal everyone elses). -
lol guess its nto him
<h3 id="no27067">Mr. Rain</h3>
Jeff "Mr. Rain" Banghart lost 120,000 on the first hand to David Wells. He's won a big pot since then and jumped back up to 520,000. -
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td>Hevad Khan</td><td></td><td>592500</td></tr></tbody></table>
different guy -
mrrain != rainkhan and nobody claimed otherwise.
