Main event PPV observations

    The final table of the main event is on Aug 10th which is a Thursday. How much business are they expecting to get offering a PPV on a weekday night? If the final table is anything like last year its going to run forever. They played until 7 AM last year. This year there is most likely going to be a larger prize pool which will allow for even more play than last year.

    I am going to order the pay per view but I might not do it until Saturday so I can actually watch it. That is assuming that they are going to offer it similar to other PPv events like wrestling that air daily for approx a week after the first airing.

    To me it would have made more sense to end the main event on a Saturday, thus making it more convenient for the average household. We are thinking of having a bunch of guys over to play cards and watch most of it, but we sure as hell can't do that on a Thursday night.

    Any opinions on this?

    the way i understood, and I may be wrong is that there will be no hole cards shown. If that's the case the 'average household' doesn't really care. The people who want to see it will see it.

    is the 1 time fee for the whole run of the final table, or is it a per day charge?

    As for the night, the people who are die hard poker nuts, like myself, will be up and watch it and if i get bored ill tape it and watch little by little...i DEF WILL BE ORDERING IT THOUGH
