  1. The site won't return a $120 deposit I made 2 years ago. First they wanted proof of age. I gave it to them. Now they say they no longer deal with american players BUT if I want to get my money I have to sign up with matchbook.com and they will transfer it there HOWEVER there will be wagering requirements to be met before I can take it.

Anyone else facing this crap? Why do I have to wager before getting MY money? Fraud!!!.

I'm a retired attorney and will contemplate a class action if enough american players are also going through this. I've set up a special email account with yahoo if you want to write me privately and not have your business made public. It is pokerexpertaakk@yahoo.com. I will also check back here in a few hours to see if any others are also facing this problem.

  2. LOL @ class action lawsuit, i am sure they had lawyers go through everything to make sure it is legit, and that there is nothing that can be held against them. You would think so anyways, but gl i guess..

  3. i had to deal with this around super bowl time. i ended up making a matchbook.com acct and wagering the 50% of the transfer amount that they say u must wager. the other option they offered me was to do a player to player transfer and find a player to trade with you on stars or ftilt or UB or wherever else that does p2p transfers.

  4. LOL @ thinking they had lawyers go through everything to make sure its legit.

Didnt you mean LOL @ him for being a retired lawyer supposedly and not knowing a class action lawsuit would have zero chance in US...

Your odds will go up significantly if you become a member of CasinoMeister and go through their mediation procedure
  6. i have thousands tied up in my affiliate account there. they tell me that i must transfer that money from my affiliate account to my player's account and then transfer it to matchbook (where, apparently, i will have to make sportsbets which i've never done before). but i obviously can't log in to either my affiliate account OR my player's account to do this. i have been trying to get this money out for about 8 months now. i'd give up if it wasn't so much. :(
  7. Just before they closed to USA players I found someone on 2+2 to do an exchange with (Mansion to stars). You might try this approach. GL
  8. LOL @ a retired attorney crying about $120.
  9. I'm in the same boat, with only 85 bucks in there I think. I've pretty much just given up. I'd be curious on how you make out though.
  10. it's not your money is it?

    so stfu!!!!
  11. same story. i've never even played a tourney on mansion but deposited 1k for a monday night football bet promotion they were doing. i actually forgot to place the bet and went to pull my money off several months ago and was told my password was incorrect. they told me to send them identification and what not which i stalled on for another couple months. when i sent that in they told me that my password was fine and they are just no longer accepting US customers.

so now i have to place some bets on matchbook just so i can be qualified to get my own money back. i guess i've been dragging my ass on that on that as well, and maybe that's the point of this whole scam. a bunch of people are gonna forget about it or just say fuck it and not bother. others are gonna lose it betting sports just trying to qualify. and at the very least they get to hold onto our money longer, and make money off our money, and thats fucked up. i wonder if matchbook is getting a cut, or if mansion and matchbook are affiliated in any way. seems like a pretty excellent deal for them.
  12. how bout the principle railbaron. its obv not the $120 thats pissing bighog off as much as the fact that these fuckers will take your money in 2 seconds flat and then stick it in you once you try to withdraw it. its a lot like the neteller bs and it is way fucking corrupt.
  13. took me tons of emails and then once they finally said they were processing my withdrawal at least 4 more months till it cleared

    gl

  14. Thanks for responding to my post.

1, A class action would work in the USA. The company is based in Gibraltar and they probably wouldn't come here to defend because of costs. Hence they would settle or face a default judgment. After that, based on compacts our government has with Gibraltar, the judgment would be executible. I have an attorney in Vegas who, without charge, would be willing to file a suit. If a judgment was obtained, he would be entitled to statutory fees.

    2. Obviously the $120 means very little to me. That's not the point.

    3. Yesterday I received a call from Sarah McClean, manager of member services at Mansion. She has agreed to sending me a check within five days in exchange for me not suing. I agreed. Hence, all who are owed money should email member services directing them to forward to Sarah. Obviously the excuse they have given you about running afoul of USA restrictions is no longer valid or she would not have agreed to send me a check directly.

Again, thank you all for responding.

  20. ive had all sorts of trouble with mansion. Their customer service is laughable! im not from the US but they suspended my account without notice and didnt tell me why. Eventually i had to contact them to find out it was a random security check. I then had to send them the documents for it THREE times, and each time i got NO response, but i had to contact them each time to find out why my account wasnt re-activated.

Is it so hard to send an email saying ''your account has been suspended because...'' or an email saying ''we have received your documents but....''
  21. Wasn't this site fluffing Mansion for a while?
