    i posted in another thread, that yesterday rio let out a press release regarding they had more than 6200+ pre registrants at about 3pm their time. I dont know if they would turn away money tho..

    Here is the problem what would you consider a sellout? They originally had accomodations for 8,000 players then later on they said they could handle 9,000?

    I would consider a sell out when they say...sorry, you can't get in, we are sold out...

    I seriously doubt they will sell out.

    Worst case scenario, they will use another casino to house more players

    I can't see a sellout. All they have to do is add an addition Day 1 start date to the four they already have. That makes room for at least 2000 players.

    They have said they are not putting a cap on entrants. They accomodated almost 3000 players in the $1000 NLHE a couple of weeks ago playing all on one day, so they can have at least that many on each day 1 with the room they have.

    I wonder how many pros are starting to look at this tourney as a joke

    either way, gonna have one ridiculous prize pool
