One of these players will take the #1 spot this year, I just cant decide on who. I like menlo's chances though.
-
if menlo wants it it's his imo.
* and by wants it, I mean puts in the necessary volume. -
wow, way to go out on a limb on that one....
why not get some insurence and say, if they dont, then Lil will keep the #1 spot -
lol, that's stating the obvious. There is a great chance that lil will stay #1 of course, I just feel like those 3 have been on a consistant incline, enough where I think Menlo will break the 8K plb bar this year.
Just my opinion. -
I don't see Menlo putting in the necessary volume to be number 1 especially when he turns 21 and has the opportunity to play the live circuit. A lot of players are capable of the top spot so it just depends on who feels like playing tournament poker all the time.
-
russ is the one who puts in the volume that it takes
-
Ok, my predicition then: If Moorman puts in some volume, he'll take over the top spot at some point this year.
-
rank Micon #1
-
If menlo played a normal schedule he would lock up the #1 spot as long as he wanted to. No disrespect to anyone else, but he really is that good. End of story
-
neonpills99 #1 IMO... guy is nasty. pbdrunks has been murkin as of recent as well.
I want to see top 9 mtts in 9 man 10k sng winner take all! -
says the guy that ft's two majors on the same site yesterday
-
I know he does, and I'm saying that as long as he continues to do so, he'll be number 1...
-
who is menlo?
-
Seriously, a 20 man sng does not determine who is the best player. That's like saying you are the best player because on one day a donk runs well and wins it. Menlo puts up no volume but has outrageous scores. He busts 15th so that means 15 ppl are better than him? There isn't really an equal level to determine "the best." You can just opinionate who is the toughest to play against, they have outstanding results over a big sample size, etc. Each person has a strength and a weakness. BTW...where do guys like dirtyriver come from? Like me, as a frequent mtt checker never see names like this and then boom, they are tearing it up. Is this their breakthru points? If so, what changes so drastically that they FT everything in site? Another example is ElMastermind. Just wondering if anyone could throw thoughts out there.

Menlo has promised me that if he dials down his online play after turning 21 this summer, he will relent and finally tutor me so I can take his place, quit my day job, and at least keep the online winnings within the family...
Not.
