3pm 33$KO is now a MET. I missed last sunday, but seems obvious now that FTP is gonna try to convert as many mtts to METs. Noticed a bunch more that ive never seen MET today , ranging from 5$ to 100$.
I was a big fan of the MET concept, was a big fan of MET DOUBLE GUAR WEEK but I am NOT A FAN of the direction this is going ...
having a couple gimmick weeks a year for METs and RUSH is fine but dont contaminate our regular weekly schedule with METs that force us to battle even more regs then we already go. -
ok as long as they arent changing a couple MTTs a week to METs, phew!

im up in the air about them, i like them and i dont, i would def hope they dont turn everything into mets, registering 4-6 times in 1 tournament, just something seems wrong about it, aiding multies much?

The freaking rake should be lower for ME events.
They should make the rake a tier.
Play 1 entry regular rake
2 entry 50% off 2nd rake
3 entry 50% off 2nd rake and 75% off 3rd rake etc...
They r raping the rake sickening! -
HEM released an upgrade and MET are supported now... i just upgraded myself yesterday

what are METs?
-
everything that struggles to reach guarantee will be converted to MET IMO. Midnight madness is perma MET I think.

yeah i saw that, used to be the softest tourney on full tilt. shame they have to fuck everything up. how hard is it just to add more tourneys and make them ME instead of altering pre-existing ones. no-one will have an issue with more tourneys and it's surely the same rake for them if they just add a new ME tourney for everyone they were thinking of changing.

I don't play $40 MTT's so now I don't even bother firing one bullet on that thing(midnight madness).

these things are the the worst idea in poker i've heard in a long time.
the variance is higher and your edge is lower cause the average player entering 3+ times is a lot better than the average player entering once. horrible horrible idea.
and it also takes money off the fish faster.
seriously the worst idea ever in poker -

+1. please stop re-inventing the wheel FTP! -
tbh, now that i think about it, i like them. I have a wife and a kid and a full time job, so my schedule doesn't allow for me to play hardly at all. But it is nice to be able to log on and play 4 tourneys at my buy-in level that all start at the same time. I particularly like the 9pm $24+2 MET. obv they shouldn't all be switched to this format, but i like having the option.
