Just wondering what kind of win rate other pppl are getting in the micro stakes. I'm thinking 0.01-0.02, and 0.02-0.05 limits. Just want to have see what some of the better players are getting and have something to aim for.
Also, to play 0.02-0.05 level, is $150 bankroll enough or should I wait to hit $200. My plan is to wait to $200 but if there is no dif in skill levels between the stakes i'm kinda wasting my time playing 2 cents right? I mean if i'm winning there. -
150 is plenty to play 2c/5c. play this coz playin 1c/2c is awful and its gonna take you forever to get the $50. then when you git 200 you have enough to move up to 5c/10c (20 buy ins is the minimum i use).
my winrate at 2c/5c is about 12ptbb/100 i think over lik 20,000 hands. why would i play that much of 2c/5c? i dont know lol but its got my 'bankroll' from ~$7 to $150. -
You've got enough easily to play $5NL, so do it because you should be able to kill it and move up so much quicker than staying at $2NL.
I checked my Holdem Manager a little earlier for $10NL, which I haven't played for about a month in favour of Omaha. 4.69 BB/100 over 40,000 hands. Not too impressed, but I was just plugging my leaks as I gave up playing NL for a bit. -
the thing is for the 0.05 level u can buy in for 200 BB's, and most ppl say always buy in for the max. I would personally hate to be in a hand with a guy with 200BB's and only be able to get half haha
How many tables do you play? I've got about 22k hands at 2NL -
i only buy in for $5, i dont really come across many people willin to stack off 200BB but thats coz the majority of people there only buy in for $5 or less.
i play 6 tables but am thinkin about movin up to 8 sometime soonish, just tryin to get a few thousand more hands playin 6 thousand to find out if im actually profitable or whether its just a heater lol good thing is that you have so little time to fume about beats. Like yesterday i was flopped set, turned FH then someone rivers higher full house...no time to fume...onto the next table ooooo i have aces... -
ya thats tru, i find playing within my bankroll i don't get tilted from a suckout or a bad play (which happens often lol) as much, i just move on and keep playin =)
I think you're right about the buy in, i could also just buy in for $6 or $7 if there are enough players there that are that deep.
sweet might test the waters out today then =D
