Do you fold, call, or raise?

I don't really like calling with two people behind me, one that has limped utg and can reshove. I also don't believe im getting the odds to set mine as neither is really all that deep.

I don't like to raise with utg limper and getting 4-5k in at this time hoping for a race.

    What is the best play?</SPAN>
  2. I think with your stack you can afford to call and look for a favorable flop, if UTG is limpin w/ monster so be it, you can get away...I dunno, its close. Definitely a weird spot...what ended up happening?
  3. yeah, I'd call and hope for a favourable flop (low rainbow flop or set).
  4. For me I like raising to about $1,500 - $1,800 here. It gives you a lot of information and is only about 10% of your stack. If UTG and raiser both call (or if just UTG calls) then you are obviously looking for a great flop to continue betting (set, open-ended straight). If UTG folds and raiser shoves you can call or fold depending on how much you want to gamble, but at least you know more about the raiser's hand. I hate calling here as you learn nothing about where you are at and there is a good chance UTG calls and then paint comes down on the flop and the raiser makes a continuation bet and you have learned nothing about where you are in the end from your $500 call. I think folding is a bit too passive but it's certainly not a crazy option at these limits.
  5. If you raise here, you are NOT folding to the raisers push....he starts with 3600...after you reraise 1500-1800 your gettin over 4 to 1 on callin his allin...my .02...any pros got some insight on this one???? i find myself in this spot alot
