  1. I will start by saying I am an average at best poker player, I have had some decent cashes and when I play in Vegas or AC I usual come home with a few bucks, but I certainly need a day job. IMO opinion the weakest part of my game is mid-tournament play.
I am usually good to triple up my initial starting stack in the first hour (e.g. I am currently sitting with 11k in the 20K guaranteed), but I have an absolute tough time holding onto those chips when the levels get bigger and the antes kick in. Obviously, I am facing better players but lately I have found that stage of a tourney incredibly frustrating, because I think I am playing to tight. Can anyone recommend an article to read that talks about this phase of a torunament or share with me some of their insights regarding approaches to this level of play? thanks
  2. I am also interested in learning more on this subject, as it is my weakness in MTT's as well. Obv. changing up your play is crucial, but the first switch is always the toughest for me. Timing is everything, and I often loosen up either too early or late.
  3. understand the feeling...I find it difficult to make reads as it seems you get moved around a lot at this stage of the tourney.

update: money bubble just burst, im in 8th
