yeah I'll probably be going on Feb. 16-17 with my friend. Do you know if the hotel rooms are going to be all booked? I was there during the wsop circuit and they were booked the whole week.
-
I was wondering what the sponsored events was. Want to share? Also, what hotel in Clarksville did you book?
-
Also curious as to what the sponsored events are.
-
wheresclarksville? i was going to stay in lousiville. is clarksville closer?
-
clarksville is slightly closer unless you are staying close to downtown Louisville but it isn't that much of a difference either way
-
The sponsored events aren't official events and you won't get a seat in the ME for winning, but provide another opportunity to play. Especially on a day like Sunday where the official event is a Ladies Tourney and the last time I checked I don't qualify.
I booked Comforts Suites in Clarksville. The front desk said it is about 15 minutes from Caesars. I believe it was $70 bucks for one night. -
trues you the young kid that always wins the tournies there? BTW, can someone tell me who the regular who's old, mustache, fat, kinda balding, and claims to have had 5 ex-wives. I remember when I was there and made 4k in like 8 hours off this guy and after his 8th buyin he went on the hottest streak I've ever seen in my life. He called all ins with 2d4d with a flush draw on the turn (with all face cards out there) and kept hitting it. Also, he pulled 2 one-outers on me to finally stack me.
-
lol no. it's defly 21+. I don't recommend you try and get a fake ID and try to play a tourney there. Because there's no way they'll let you walk out of that casino with money if you do cash cuz it's Indiana and not like AC and LV.
However, I did have a friend that went to AC and won a tourney there when he was 20. He made over 30k and got away with cuz he was Asian and used his friend's ID. Those tournament directors feel really bad in questioning an Asian kid because they feel like they might offend them. -
I'm going to be there 15,16,and 17 and possibly 18 and 19 if i do any good at all.
and watch out for truesyalose, he's a beast at the tables.
good luck to those playing

How far is Ceasars, Indiana from CHicago?
-
approx. 6 hours depending on traffic and weather.
-
I have a friend who is 25 try to get in with a recently expired ID last weekend...after arguing for 30minutes they still wouldn't let her in, even if she just watched her friends and didn't gamble at all. so yes, don't bother trying..+ they scan every ID at the door.
-
Actually, it is right about 4 hours from downtown if you take the skyway.
-
I wouldnt mind hitting the $500 this Saturday......I am just west of Indianapolis...I am about half way between Chicago and Ceasars
-
Anyone willing to accept a pstars transfer for cash at this thing? id like to play events starting today the 8th, and i would be willing to do this in person if anyone is interested.
-
I will not eb making the trip sorry.
-
fasdlafjsdlkfj i was gonna fly in for this, (the 16th till the 19th) till i realized that i have an exam on that tuesday and cant shcedule a flight on monday sicne i dont know when the main event will be over BLAH. who schedules day 2 of a main event on a monday really. Oh well so much for that, looks like illl have to wait for next year when ill be done with college. Such a bad beat.
Good luck Jon, I am now pulling for you ha.
EDIT: And i dont feel like making the 11 hr drive from minneapolis, that sounds like more hastle then fun lol, unless i can find someone else around this area that wants to come w/ me and pay for gas lol. PS we would also likely be leaving monday during the day/at night. Thanks peace -
Just as a warning for all you guys who are traveling to play in this event-the structures for everything except the main event are totally shitty. Played in the $550 yesterday and you got 1500 chips and 40 minute levels. By the 100/200 level, it was pretty much an all in fest, with the biggest stack that I saw somewhere around 6000. Main event is going to be good, though-5000 starting chips.
-
anyone know what time sunday's sponsored event is? i am planning on heading down early monday morning (5am ish) but would maybe make the trip sunday if the time on that tournament is right? anyone know the times??
thx
MJ
