  1. A lot of people advise betting a third of the pot as continuation bets online. The thing is, it seems like people always think you're bluffing when you do that and put you to a tough decision. Anyone else seen this and if so what have you done about it? Thanks. For now I'm just not doing it anymore.
  2. PS. I forgot to mention I was talking specifically about when a third of the pot is a min bet.

Who the hell said that? Standard cbets are usually a little larger than half the pot

  4. Umm...Moshman authored prolly the best and most detailed sng book on the market and he mentions a third to half the pot as a standard due to no one ever having a lot of bb late in the game.

  5. 1/2 the pot or 3/4 of the pot both very common and effective.....just pay attention to flop texture and use some descretion every once in a while you will be fine.

  8. depending on the stakes/ opponents/position at the table I sometimes bet 1/2 the pot, the pot, or even like 1/5 the pot sometimes which makes you look strong like you want a call. Sometimes betting 1/3 or 1/2 the pot looks weak and will get you c/r all in.
  9. Cool. Thanks for the advice.
