I'll add to this fine thread.
Here is a simple tool that most low limit SNG players refuse to add to their game.
Open shoving with a low M. Harringtons recommendations on open shoving with an M of 5 or lower (an M around 3 and I'll open shove with any 2) when you have first in vigorish can EASILY get you right back into the game if you've had a bad beat and are short on chips.
Most players are ultra tight once the blinds start getting high. I can't count how many times using this has taken me from the bubble stack to first place. Plus all the aggression will help you get paid off if you do finally catch a hand after open shoving with 3-5 hands in a row.
The point is you might as well open shove with first in vigorish as you are going to be blinded out soon anyway...take what fold equity you have and shove. Even if you're called, yes you're likely to be an underdog, but you're often not as big a dog as you think. A-10 vs 9-6...usually the first one to pair will take the pot down.

The question I've put on the thread earlier is from HOH 3. If you haven't read it, you will probably surprised to hear the answer... here it is : You can only call with AA through JJ and AKs.
Of course this is not the most +cEV decisions possible but as Jenni said ... it's all about ICM. Harrington does the math in his book. It's a good read! -
i think a lot of of what you said it is good except that limping too much is bad, especially at the low limits. i have found scott fischman's style to be superb, in lvl 1 and 2 don't raise with anything except QQ-AA and AK-make it like 5-6X the BB so you can continuation bet, or maybe 88-JJ if if it's folded to you late. ONLY limp with small pairs for the set and ace-suited for the nut flush. And if you raise with AQ in EP with AK and get a caller and flop your ace then what? people usually call with AK early at this stage when the blinds are so small, so you should fold it this early. and ONLY in the 3rd lvl+ is where the blinds are worth stealing, if it's folded to you on the button, you should raise with any 2. and when you're at 12X the BB you should be in all in mode in lvls 1 and 2, there should be only 4 hands you're raising with everytime.

lol this is more of a turbo strategy. I disagree with AQ/AK in ep. I make the standard 4-5.5xbb raise. Then go from there depending how many are in the hand.

haha yeah should've mentioned i play turbos only
