Hey guys I hate these posts about pros as much as you do, and I would hate to see anyone go broke especially a pro. but im just wondering, is he going broke?

But recently I've seen money800(chris moneymaker) playing at 0.50-1 tables and today hes down at a 0.25/0.50 hh table. I checked his sharkscope and hes "only" $2,500 in profit for sngs and mtts.

of course he's always in big tournies but thats bcos pokerstars pays for him. Does he have much of his "own money" left??? Someone on the rail reckons hes trying to do a similiar thing to Negreanus(spelt wrong) challenge. any word on this????

LOL at how defensive sandler1890 is. it was a genuine question. I hope he is still amillionaire but to everyone who says he could be playing for "fun". how is it "FUN" grinding for hours making a couple of $$$$ when ur used to winnin thousands????

its like saying yeah im a pro footballer but fuck it im gonna go down the park three times a week and play against some over weight businessmen because thats more fun than playing against real players and making a ton at the same time. get real guys!!!

He's broke...easy to lose 2.5m+all the money he makes from pokerstars+free entries he gets in 5 years playing non-nosebleed stakes............................................ .....for real?

just because hes a pokerstars pro it doesnt mean he will earn a ton of money???

they pay for his entry fees. if he fails too cash he earns fuck all. and i doubt earning $35 an hour which is the average going rate will turn him on.

I saw him grinding 1/2 at the palms one time but I personally just think hes a bankroll nit and prefers grinding low.

Not all PokerStars pros get paid the same amount. My understanding was that Chris gets something along the lines of $1M per year from Stars, and that doesn't even include tournament entries.

im sure he won like $1million from $40. and i ask, what would you do with that???

spend probs $300-$400k on a new house $50k on a couple cars and a few holidays,

your left with around $500k.

thats 50 buyins for 10k events. he won in 2001. when did pokerstars sign him up???

p.s its not hard to lose $500k, just ask gus hansen, hes down $1.2million in the last week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pps, just saw adams post and i believe if pocketfives knows whats hes on then thats good enough for me.

if he isnt broke im glad that hes playin lower giving ppl a chance to a pro, but please in future ppl answer the question without the sarcasm....

I played with him about 4 years ago at 1-2NL at MGM. He was with his new wife, who was a hottie. He was really nice to the everyone at the table and seems like a really good guy. He played a lot of hands and played OK and his wife was just learning and donked off a few stacks and they left.

OP why are you so defensive when people are giving you the correct answers and you continue to defend yourself? You are also assuming Moneymaker had $0 when he won...which is likely 100% false. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, and you also clearly have no idea about investments or anything related. You think everyone has their entire bankroll couped up online or in the bank? Plz stop posting.
