zooot1 has not been overly aggro but has been been making plays at pots.

Is this an insta fold or an insta shove?? I don't think flatting is an option what so ever.
  2. fold, utg limp reraise is uhge
  3. I am not a very experienced tourny player so maybe someone can explain why flatting is not an option. If his range is QQ-AA, AK, then shoving doesnt nothing as he will instacall. Why not reevualate after the flop? IF an A or K comes you can get away and still have some chips to play. If its unders you shove then and if he flips QQ-AA then it would have been same result.

PS I think you can throw out AQ since you said he hasnt been overly aggresive.
  4. flatting would be very spewy since you will be putting over 1/3 of your stack in PF and are vulnerable to a lot of flops.
  5. You are saying you think we are ahead??? If so then the play is to shove. I definelty don't agree but either way never flat nearly a third of your stack ever. And I think its conservativley agreed that you would need at least 10-1 pot odds to setmine.

  6. i think you should go all in

  7. Never flat EVER, i fold unless i have a read that says otherwise.
  8. No I think it is a fold...just wondering what everyone else thinks???

  9. I don't know. I recently have had a lot of people do this shit to me with 1010- (yes minus, less than 10's) just because they hate raising UTG with those pairs.

AKs is in the range too.

    So is QQ+ though.

It's really close to me, I don't just fold because he limp 3bet me. I've had it done numerous times. I would say if you think with your stack size you can wait and do better in the long run in the tournament, fold. If not, ship it in and be willing to be 4:1 sometimes behind, sometimes ahead, or 50/50 the rest of the time.

I think we lose sight a lot of the time that the objective of a tournament isn't always to make the highest +EV decision. Especially when making that +EV decision on that hand may end up causing you to be out of the tournament 40% of the time, thus allowing you to not win ANY money as the result.

Take it for what it is.

it is possible hes doing this with 1010 or less but unlikely, alot more often then not i think he has qq+/ak, i dont think the risk of your comfortable stack is anywhere near the return but each to his own i suppose.
  11. The only hand I can beat that he would do this with would be 10 10 or AK would be a coin flip.....Are you really wanting to risk your stack at this point when we are this deep???
