  1. Since I just spent an hour in a great WSOP thread, I have some situations I want to throw out and get responses to.

    1. At 300/600 75? ante, I pick up AK of spades on the button. I have approximately 45k. The BB has been playing like a wild old man live player LAG style and 3 betting more often than I've seen most people in live tournaments. I raise to 1600. He reraises to 5100 and has me covered.

The question here is what is the optimal play given the structure of the main event stack sizes and situation. What is the proper play and please include the exact amount of a reraise.

    2. I'm going to give several hypothetical situations here because I think it's important to have a game plan for every situation that could happen. I have QdQh in middle position and raise it from the hijack to 1600 same blind levels as above. The crazy man flats the button and the BB calls. I have around 28k. The crazy guy both has around 60k. The BB has probably 120k. The board comes out 9c8c7h.

    a. It is checked to you. Is c-betting the optimal line here? If so, how much.

    b. If you c-bet something like 4k and get raised by the button to 12k what do you do then?

    c. If you check, the button bets 4k, the big blind flat calls. What do you do?

    d. If you check, the button bets 4k, the big blind folds what do you do?

I flat and let him donk off a ton of chips when an A or K flops. I guess you could reraise to about 12k but if he shoves you almost have to call, and you're very committed to the hand if it goes to the flop. I guess r/r to 12k you could lay it down if necessary but I prefer flatting.

Yes, c-bet almost the size of the pot, so roughly 5k.

    b. If you c-bet something like 4k and get raised by the button to 12k what do you do then?
Assuming the bb folded, go all in.

    c. If you check, the button bets 4k, the big blind flat calls. What do you do?
Obviously you checked to set up a check-raise. C/R all in.

    d. If you check, the button bets 4k, the big blind folds what do you do?
    Same as C.
  3. Could you incorporate Phil Helmuth into this question somehow? Like make him a villain in one of the hands or something.
