  1. Who in your opinion is the most honest site?

Who make you think "these are decent guys", and who make you think
"I am not sure I would lend my lawn mower to this lot :O)"
  2. The problem with trying to figure that out is that just like in any company there will be turnover. Employees blew it for AP.

Growing up I knew kids that worked in sub shops that would take the six bucks for an italian sub instead of ringing it in.

I very rarely play the high stakes that have been seriously the most effected here but I am still weary.
  3. I believe that stars puts forth the best effort, in terms of security.
  4. I'm not really talking about dishonest employee's but more about little
things they do to squeeze an extra dollar out of you.

That fold button might suddenly, change to 'all in' for example.
It's not the site's fault, it's your fault for not checking, not dishonest, just badly
    laid out.

Obviously they try to correct such oversights.

  5. sorry to say but there all rigged .......just ask lilholdem954
  6. I agree and that is why I play there only. I still can't bring myself to deposit right now though.

Do you think that multi accounters in the smaller stakes tourneys are harder to detect. Like say the twenty and thirty dollar buy ins.

And I will still say that multi accounters are the least of my concerns when it comes to online poker no matter what site.
  7. I trust people at both stars and FTP to be running a clean operation. I know a number of honest people within both sites and I don't think this is happening there.

  8. I don't actually play there much, but i would agree they don't
appear to have any 'little tricks' shall we say.
Maybe I shold play there more often?

  9. Yes but is that down to company 'culture' employee checks etc...?

  10. I know Nat and I agree with that but...

Should I be concerned with multi accounters as a parttime low to medium stakes player?
  11. Ya right how can you make this claim. You are basing this without facts or any info. You would have to think for every one they catch 20 will not be caught. That means there is about 80% chance any site is crooked.

But as for the most trusted site I would go with pokeroom. After the zeejustin multi-accounting scandal you can't even subscribed to two mtts from one ip the software won't let you.
  12. obv bodog
  13. Kasilof I don't think he was trying to be factual. He was really just stating his opinion. Who he trusts has no bearing on anyone else's decision making unless they choose to trust his instinct.

  14. public trading sites----------party, I'm w lilholdem I have issues w stars rng, n other peeps cashout curses. f the doomswitch, oh btw yes my tinfoil hat is on.
  15. "I believe that stars puts forth the best effort, in terms of security."

You mean PR. Thats what it all boils down to. We have to take a sites word for it cause there is no independent oversight.
  16. Yea, re: multi-accounting, I believe it's only really happening in the biggest MTTers and will rarely actually affect you in something like the Sunday Million.

I don't know how sites can be sure of eliminating multi-accounting without severely limiting certain things (account transfer is one major feature that makes it easy). And personally, I do not thing that the impact of multi-accounting is bad enough to warrant removing important features.

It's just going to be a constant problem and we have to hope that sites are vigilant.

  17. I would have to say Bodog... their customer support is excellent. I have never encountered any problems with them.
  18. Since that last big update id go with Bodog too.....unlike stars they're not afraid to lose a few bucks to overlays . I would not keep a large bankroll there simply due to the whole company riding on 1 mans back...any money you have in Bdog is essentially in Calvins back pocket. anything happens to him we might be in trouble.
But any time u need em u just pick up the phone and for me anyway the fairest RNG ive encountered
  19. I dont care if I get flamed all day for this, but there is a problem with the rng at pokerstars. Im not saying its rigged but its not right(maybe its just flawed). I sent an email the other day to see how many hands I've played there. 1.1 million hands is a fairly decent sample size, there is no doubt in my mind something is amiss.
  20. I do actually trust some of the people at ftp, especially Howard Lederer. Someone who drives a hybrid seems too conservative to cheat.
  21. if u think any site is even close 2 100% clean ur delusional
