    2 weeks. didnt want to have to make this move until the end of the year but signing off on a house in the summerlan area next week. All ive heard is that that part of the vegas area is a great place to raise a family. any suggestions on other zipcodes or neighborhoods that are worth a look before i sign (from those who live/lived in the area) let me know.

    I live in the area and it is a good community, with a bunch of families, parks, ect. I'm unsure about any specific neighborhoods but even places a mile away from a casino (suncoast, red rock, rampart) feel like a regular town.

    I live in Summerlin right now and I am moving in August between Red Rock Canyon and Red Rock casino. (Just west of 215-Charleston) Like a lot of Las Vegas and Summerlin, it is all very new and it doesn't even seem like you are in Vegas. Less than 20 minutes to Bellagio and Caesar's, and just literally a couple minutes from Red Rock Canyon. I am very excited and I hope that helps.
