  1. Have been trying to find a good article, which outlines starting hand requirements, and some general consensous on how to play lowblind to highblind, including bubble - as opposed to Full Ring. There is a discussion in the Poker Strategy archives, which just tips on the iceberg. So, whats the deal here ???

I assume, you get to open from EP with something like :

22+, AJs, AQo, AKo, AKs, QJs, KJs, KQs, KQo

and add AJo, ATs, JTs from MP ...

    Any thoughts on this ?

Who is a competent 6-max player and can shed some light ???

    Thanks, BEAT
  2. Pssht, I'll open K-10dd UTG. It's all dependent on what your table is giving you at the time. Sometimes people are too active at a 6-max table and if you have 4 of them on your table, you have to sit back a little and selectively pop them. I usually see this more often than people being too tight/passive.
  3. ^^^^^^^

And at a too passive table I'll open almost any 2 UTG if I've got a stack.

At teh aggro table you can more liberally 3 bet too, especially as it gets later in the tny. Works for me,,,,,

  4. I've had all my success at 6max. I usually only play sngs but when I do play 6max MTTs for some reason I have better results than that of full ring. Be a little more aggro but becareful. I see a lot of players abusing the word "aggro" and I think that is one key factor mis interpreted.
