  1. I am doing this from memory so bare with me.... Blinds are $150-300 plus ante. I have about $10,800 UTG, UTG+1 Villain has $19,000+, UTG+2 has $10,801 (he had a slight chip lead on me). We are the 3 big stacks at the table plus we are all in the top 9 of chip counts. About 40+ left with 9 getting paid. No reads on UTG+2 except that he has one of those Iron Man symbols next to his avatar. Big Stack was playing pretty tight, not using his stack hardly at all but I have only seen him play for a rotation so far. I have played one hand at this table and basically only stolen the blinds.

I am dealt QQ utg, full table. I raise it to 2.5x or $750, UTG +1 smooth / snap calls, UTG+2 reraise to $2,750 folds back to me. Standard fold or am I being to nittish?
  2. A fold here makes you the tightest player in the universe. Yeah, his RR of a UTG raise is strong, but folding here just seems dumb. I would personally shove.
  3. I don't know, I rarely lay down QQ preflop, but this MAY be a spot to do it.
Someone pokerstove JJ+, AK because I'm pretty sure that's UTG+2's range. You can be 99.99% sure he's not folding if you shove. UTG+1's snap-smooth-call shouldn't concern us too much, we're crushing his range.
  4. Pokerintheback , What range do you put on UTG+2? I felt JJ-AA, AK do you think this is too narrow? IF you were UTG+2 what are you raising an unknown UTG raiser with an equivalent stack with?

I felt I could discount QQ, so I am ahead of JJ and flipping with AK and being crushed by KK-AA. I fold I have an above average stack and an M of 15. Based on the range here is the poker stove numbers:

i think without any reads that range is too narrow for a reraise in this spot and tourney. with no reads i'd give him an 88+ and AQ+ range and would therefore shove over him in this spot. some LAG players might do this even with much worse holdings, while you could find a fold only vs a supertight player.
