MTT Hand Trouble. Big Draw against aggressive player! (Insight Wanted)

    Im in middle stages of a MTT tourney when the following hand comes up. I'm in middle position with $10,100 in chips. Tony10 is on my left with $15,00 in chips. So far my oberservations of Tony are that he is a aggressive type player. He will constantly reraise you or push all in into a fairly big pot in an attempt to steal. The hand :

    Blinds: 100/200

    Me : AK I raise it 700 (900 total)

    Tony calls. Everyone else folds.

    Pot is now $2100

    Flop : QT9

    At this point any diamond or J should give me the winning hand with the possibility of any A or K.
    So realizing I probably have around 18 possible outs if I did my math correctly.

    What's my play here? Check? Raise? If I raise , how much ?
    If I check and he raises whats my play?

    What happended: I bet 1200 and he folds.

    How do I play this hand? In my head I knew he was aggressive, so I wanted to bet into him and hope he would just call. I didnt want to check and have him check behind me and possibly miss my hand with all the outs I had. Now that I look back on it, with all those outs I think I misplayed this hand. Any help?

    vety goood. but i raise a little less pf. 3xbb+1bb for every limper unless the tbale is extremely loose
