  1. Hey everyone,
I'm assuming that this is the correct location/thread to post about this topic. I play under the name TheOracleAA on pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker. I am an MTT player, showing great results and profits over the last two years or so. I have steadily increased my bankroll and have a solid ROI over the tournaments that I have played. I have recently begun to feel that I have become an extremely good MTT player with a solid understanding of strategy, bubble play, endgame approach, and changing gears. I used to mainly play tournaments ranging from $26-$55, but have progressed to the point where I play almost everything except the 1k tourney's and 109 rebuys and above. I am a member of CardRunners and read Cardplayer articles very often. I feel that these are great ways to improve my game, but I am looking to take my understanding and approach to the next level. I feel that I have some very novel ideas to MTT's and have shown great success as my game gets more and more solid. However, I am looking to discuss HH's and strategy with other successful pro's/players. I am not looking for a coach, as I do not believe that $300/hr is beneficial to me at this time (I currently have a full-time job but am planning to play poker professionally for a year beginning this summer). What I am looking for is a mutual relationship with successful MTT player(s). I am extremely interested in and passionate about the game and with my limited time of being able to play during the weekdays, I would love nothing more than to be able to constantly improve by discussing poker with similar individuals. I have a solid base of friends who I have played poker with for years and who specialize in different games and are extremely successful (ranging from omaha, to NLHE hu games, 6-max cash, MTT's, etc.). However, I feel that the discussions I have with my friends are now somewhat stale and redundant. If anyone else would like to discuss hands and their approach/success in MTT's on a regular basis, please contact me. I do not visit this site often so I am not familiar with PMing, etc., but you can e-mail me at nst2@duke.edu if you are interested in what I've been discussing. Good luck to everyone and see you at the WSOP.

  2. pxf, obviously its tough to fine a top pro to discuss hands with, unless you become friends with one.

Pxf is starting to have more and more of its pro's in the chat room discussing hands and what not.
  3. I wish I were a great MTT player...I'd hit this up in a second. You are a great player...GL with this!

  7. Would you also like to discuss how much Duke sucks and how hard UNC owns?

By the way, the fact that Paulus's last shot of the season was an airball is quite humorous, wouldn't you agree?

I would be glad to discuss such topics with you.
    :)
  8. Maybe I have exactly what your are looking for.

Me and some other MTT players have setup a private hands/strategy discussion page at http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/MI6_Crew/.
As non-member you cannot see the discussions, but you can read the group description and you can apply for membership in case you are interested.

With your background and attitude I think you would fit well into our crew.
