Played one of these for the first time and got to thinking: Should you play a differenst strategy on 1 of the tables to try and get a psycho big stack?
I figure playing one table super-aggro and the rest of them normal, it gives you a shot with one of the entries to either bust early or run up a monster stack early. -
shove/fold all four stacks start to finish. QQ+, AK, 57, 10,3

I don't see why you would play it any different than you would play 4 separate freezeouts, cause that's pretty much what this is. If you wanna play one of them aggro fine but I don't think that's dictated by the format of the tournament.
That being said if you have 2 entries deep then I would def think that ramping up the aggression would be the way to go. -
This is how I'm playing em...

add this to some other common ones..
bout tree fiddy
how much can i make hourly if i play 10 tourneys a day?
is that a level?
epic first post
guys i've won two tourneys for like 3k in one month, should i go pro? -
What if all 4 of your entries end up on the final table, can you collude with yourself?!
-
Multiple entries will eventually be merged when the number of tables exceeds the number you have in the tournament. Two stacks merged will give you a larger stack of chips. If you are already ITM you collect a pay-out at the point two of your stacks are merged.
You can never have two seats at the same table. At best the short stack will merge with one of your large stacks. -

I'm torn two different ways on this. Should I buy in for the max buyins or not. I feel your ROI with go down with each entry but the chance of cashing goes up. I think you should look at your personal stats on how high your ROI is and how often you make the money.
Its similar to a rebuy. The more you rebuy, the further you have to cash for a profit.
I do like the fact that you get 4 chances on winning a tourney. With that being said, the better you are, the more you should buyin. Just my opinion. Also the bigger the field, you should buy in for more.
This is a topic that will be brought up for a while. It will take a lot of these played to really know what is the best way to approach it. -
I've thought about this all day and I came to the conclusion that multible entries will increase hourly rate but not effect ROI. The only way it will effect ROI is when you merge two stacks at the end of tourny. This will happen once in a blue moon. ICM caculations show that your ROI will go down when two stack merge, especially when two big stacks merge. So I'm treating each entry as a seperate tourny.
My original idea of treating it as a rebuy is flawed. But a smaller tourney, like under 100 entries where the chance of merging increases is where I wouldn't enter multible times.
