  1. Title says it all really. Is it better to multi table at lower stakes or play only one table but at higher stakes. Any thoughts welcome taking into account all aspects i.e. bankroll management, profit making, even FPP earning etc etc.

    Cheers
  2. Well most good players get ITM about 15%. So do you get to 15% faster by playing 1 MTT or multi-tabling?

  3. obv multi table smaller FTW...variance and stuff

  4. multi table lower stakes.....volume is key online, so play as many tables as you are comfortable with. If you are playing well and making good decisions then next session add another table...and so on. You will even out the variance a lot faster than playing 1 table at a higher buy in, better to play 10 mtt's at $10 each than 1 at $100
  5. i guess since this site is mostly tourneys, the answers so far have been related to that. In ring games,

ex. at 100NL each table playing 100 hands and hour
1 table win rate 6BB/100 = $24 for every hundred hands played
10 table win rate 1.5BB/100 = $6 for every hundred hands played

notice 1 tableing can yield 24 an hour profit but 10 tabliing can yield 60 an hour. Most say your performance will drop with more tables but as you can see that performing at 25% is still more than twice as profitable than 1 tabling

as for the limit diference to make up for volume difference, I think game selection would be key, typically the lower the level, then the more fish are present. So finding a good game would be key.
