Im looking to just play maybe 6 tables at a time...my monitor now is just a small one that came with the pc.Im looking for a bigger monitor but don't want to spend an arm and a leg...will a 20" be ok? what do you guys have?
-
i have a 20.1" and do 12 tables w/ minimal overlap... any 20" should let you do 6 no problem unless the resolution is absolutely terrible
-
I think most of the guys have something between yours & a 24". Personally, I have a 19" and I can do 4 tables without an overlap. For what it's worth....
-
24" wide screen works gr8, 4 full tables , no overlap
-
Make sure to remember to look not only at the screen size but also the max screen resolution for the screen. You want BOTH of those numbers to be as large as possible obv.
Anyways, pretty much if you want to 12-table or more, then either get like a 30 inch monitor with a sick sick sick sick max screen res, or get multiple cheap 17 or 19 inch monitors side-by-side or just get some cheapo 19 inch monitor or something and cascade the tables.
Cuz on smaller monitors usually 4 or 6 tables is the most you'll be able to tile with no overlap. -
Thx guys...i can do 4 tables on this one but they are really small.
I will prolly look for a 20" as they aren't overly expensive. -
24" Acer monitor cost $325 well worth the money very easy to 9 table
-
Westinghouse 27" widescreen
Inexpensive and great picture

i would say at least 20", there are many at reasonable prices.
.............If your more serious about multi tabling you need 2 of these IMO -
i have two 21" monitors and can pretty comfortably fit 8 tables
-
does anyone have this monitor?

DELL
E228WFP 22-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor

Usually Ships 1-2 Days
Manufacturer Part# KU311
Dell Part# 320-5205
Max Resolution: 1680 x 1050 / 60 Hz
Image Contrast Ratio: 800:1
Response Time: 5 ms
If so how many tables can you fit with no overlap? i was thinking of purchasing 2 of these but only if i can fit 9 tables on each with no overlap

-
a 24 inch and two 20.1 inch monitors. Can 18 table comfortably. Really only play that many in full ring NL cash though. 12 table with no overlap when playing mtt's.

It's not the screen-size that's the critical factor, it's the screen resolution.
You'd want something that does at least 1600 x 1200. That should be fine for 6 tables.
Personally i have 2 x 24" widescreen 1920x1200 res and i don't have quite enough space as i'd like for Poker Tracker and other things. -
It all depends on the resolution.
