I play tournaments primarily stars and Bodog. 2 days ago I decided to move some cash over to other sites to give myself a better selection of tournaments. I moved some money to Paradise(I am from Australia), party(never really played there much), Doyles Room and UB.
I was all very excited to be playing whatever tournaments I felt comfortable with until I was registered and started playing atleast 1 tourney from each site....They all crashed one after the other. Some I could close and restart but other times I had to reboot my computer which sucks when I am already playing in 6-8 tournies.
Bodog - Havent had any issues in the last 3 months when I only play Bodog and Stars. When multipokerrooming(<--new word of the day) I get Runtime errors and it crashes especially when new tables open for new tournaments or get moved tables already in tourneys.
Party - Sometimes the tables get an error message and either the table has to be shut or it turns into a jigsaw puzzle and results in having to be shut/restarted.
UB - New tables, when opening, are blank. I cant even close UB and restart. Had to reboot computer.
Paradise - Not too bad. first tourney or 2 I played the tables wouldnt open up and it crashed. After 1 reboot it hasnt done it in 2 days now.
Doyles Room - Had 1 crash and is similar to paradise(After 1 reboot it hasnt done it in 2 days)
So....
Why does this happen?
Has this or does this happen to anyone else?
If so, Is there any way that I can get around these issues?
Note: -My internet connection is always tip top.
-I use a laptop to play.
-Please dont give me answers like "Yea happens because Party sucks" etc

For the most part the poker site clients don't tax your cpu's processing power too much, but it sounds like your system is getting overworked. Do you have any problems with any of the sites when you are only playing one site at a time?
-
No never, I play 6-10 tables on stars and 3 on bodog simultaneously and never had any troubles.
Surely I'm not the only one to have a system being overworked by having 6 rooms open and playing roughly 1 or 2 tables each room. -
How much memory does your laptop have ? ......you could make almost any laptop or desktop crash if you keep running more and more simultaneous memory intensive applications on it.......
also.....there should be an error log with error codes that comes up after your machine re-starts......you can 'google' these error codes and get information about the crashes........
