About a month ago now, I tried logging into my Full Tilt account and could not do so. Naturally concerned about this I went to my email and discovered one from Full Tilt stating that I had asked for an email change of address. I did not. Therefore, someone hacked into my account and changed the password and tried changing the the email address so I would have no way of reaccessing my account.
To verify that I was me, they asked me to send them a bunch of information to confirm my identity: passport, drivers license, billing statements. All of these thing were sent to them, yet now, they will not even respond to me. I have sent 4 other emails asking wtf is going on, still no response.
Wtf can/should I do about this? -
That must've sucked, but it sounds like you're fucked.
-
Just keep emailing them daily and demand to speak with a supervisor.
that sucks -
and tell them you posted this on P5's forum! Explain that you have been hacked.
maybe try to get a phone number -
Obv it is to late and that really sux, but doesn't this security seem backwards? All the A**shole hack needed to do was get your password and and he/she is off to the races. You on the other hand have to jump through all these hoops and take all this time just to prove you are you. And after that what happens? You find out your account was emptied 4 weeks ago? WTF? That is not right. It should be more difficult for someone to change important info like password/email...etc. I mean if I want to change things on my yahoo e-mail account I have to answer personel questions, how hard would it be for FTP to add this security feature?

FTP support to a T.:( sry to hear dude hope it gets resolved.

well hopefully they locked your account as soon as you sent the first email.
they lose all mail and faxes, ALWAYS!
scan all the documents, and attach them to an email. This will work. You'll be back on in a couple days. -
Damn, that's why I didn't see you around anymore. Hope you will be able to retrieve HH's so you can see who the hacker donked off your roll to. Hope you didn't have too much in your account.

Too late to help you now, but the Full Tilt security PIN should make it much harder for someone to steal your password:

This stuff scared the sh*t out of me, I just requested a PIN for my pokerstars account, and I will probably order that RSA security token too....
-
I gave up on FTP a long time ago. Move on to PS and bodog IMO.
-
Full tilt is facking pathetic hope this eventually get resolved but it soundz like they pretty much bent you over and enjoyed your virginity
-
Sorry to hear that, seems backwards like a previous post said. Good to know that Full Tilt Support handles this type of situation by ignoring your e-mails and washing theyre hands that way.
I was goin to finally open a Full Tilt account this week and this makes me hold on to that thought for now.
Hope you get this sorted out in a positive way very fast. -
the sad thing is they aren't trying to improve their customer service...its like its not a big deal to them...
