A couple weeks ago I made a thread about skipping my last year of school to play poker. It got a lot of hate which it probably deserved. Well, I ended up deciding that not finishing would be dumb and to just go ahead and get it done. I got a bunch of good karma for my good decision making and was allowed to run good at a final table. I finished 5th in the $50 1R1A and shipped the $5 rebuy for $10kish in total profit. Thanks for the love (and the hate)

congrats man! Sick day. Trust me though, finishing school is what you want to do. You can still make good money playing part time for the next year, and finishing will give you that much more confidence going forward with your poker career, knowing you have that safety net.
Enjoy the monies ;)
