    Son, let me tell you about one of my bad beats. I picked up AA and made it TWO dollars. To my delight, another player made it 3.50 to go, so I decided to push in for 15 and a half dollars. I got called by AK, what a noob. Now, on the flop I hit my set, but the turn gave my opponent a royal flush. Talk about a bad beat....and I lost upwards of sixteen dollars on that hand!

    Well i had a 6 card str8 flush last night =) (LOL True story..last night i had Qh....there was 8h,9h,10hJh,Kh and a blank on the board)

    Congrats on the first royal and I hope you have many more.

    Since you did it to crack AA, I gotta tell my story for my first royal. I am still a donkey, but I was a much bigger donkey when this happened. I was a member here already, but I was too embarassed to post the HH and now I can't find it on my comp. But, at the 25/50 level in a $5 or $10 sng, it folded around to me in the SB.

    me: 2500 chips
    him: 1500 chips

    With Kd10d, I raised to 150 and BB minraised me to 250 so I called. Flop came AdAxJd. I was first to act and I just pushed all in lol. He had A10 and called. I was like "damn, well a diam or Q will save me." The turn came the case A to give him quads.

    obv the Qd fell on river lol.

    normally I wouldn't have pushed pre with AK suited or otherwise but I had busted this guy twice and had had been busted by a couple of other people when pushing all in with very poor hands (J9, 9T and the like) so I didn't think I would be going up against AA but figured hey...he had hand and I don't have a problem being beat like that..he was actually very nice about it and congradulated me on the hand...it is nice to see that at the table now and again :)

    a few weeks ago i had a Ah Kh Qh Jh Th 9h. I had K9 in my hand and hit the Q on the turn with a blank river. I got nothing out of the pot tho.
