  1. Alright so I know basic tournament strategy calls for being pretty fing tight early on (perhaps limping instead of raising with 99-jj, catching cheap monster flops, etc.) and later on its more profitable to become more aggressive. However, lately I have been adopting a very loose-aggressive style in my early rounds of play and am finding it allows me to chip much much more easily than if I wait for kk or aa, which might get cracked or not get paid off.
Firstly and obviously, it allows me to pick up the small pots that nobody has claimed. Those little pots allow me to bluff at later pots with someone else chips.
The constant raising preflop and continuation bets on the flop throw off my opponents. They might learn through others that I am susceptable to folding to reraises both pre and post flop. However they cant have the nuts everytime, and I cant have rags everytime, and this loose aggressive style really makes people raise me with less than quality hands that my big hands can dominate.
EX: folds to cutoff, who limps my bb. I have aqo, and raise the 111th billion time in a row, button calls. flop qjx, i bet out, and he raises with what is found out to be q10. Any other player he wouldnt raise there. However given my hyper aggression and his position plus top pair which he imagines must be good, i now have him committed with a jam, drawing to 3 cards.
When constantly betting all the time, you make it harder to be read by your opponents, as betting pattern is one of those few online tells that people can employ. But when your betting your openender the same as your bottom set, it allows you to be paid off by players that wouldnt normally do so
People also tend to slowplay monsters against you, hoping to trap, while in the meantime allowing you to catch up on a draw rather cheaply (pbv position is a big part of this), or play a small pot with your q high vs his kk
Also when changing gears, a necessity with this style as you cant always go full throttle or else youll burn out, people keep that very loose aggressive style in their mindset, and tend to pay off your big hand that you wait for.

All in all I believe this style of play and the success you will achieve absolutely correlates with your ability to put your opponent on a range of hands as well as being able to maneuver and outplay postflop. I know that this style is the hardest for me to play against, and I cant imagine it being to easy for others.

Alright thats my two cents, if i forgot anything or if im just a big donk, don't hesitate to respond and say so.
