    for the sole purpose of being able to loudly chant S-E-T-S etc etc etc, id vote for ny sets. bets has the same potential but i like S-E-T-S etc etc etc over B-E-T-S etc etc etc.

    i like LI Expressraise since it goes with the idea i originally said with L.I.E (long island experts or extraordinares).

    LI Xtreme is terrible and LI Sound is just ehhh. NY bets i dont like either.

    Sorry to be a buzzkill, but Lagtards is probably not a good pick for a team name that is going to be so corporate, as it is derived from the word retard(I think anyway), which would probably inappropriate.

    My vote would be for the New York Sets!

    Who is on my team is completely irrelevant because the team could change for later events within the leasgue depending on format. Think of it for what it is,,,a franchise name which will comprise different team members at different times.

    I like the Long Island Expressraise, probably because I came up with it, so here's a little bit of self-promotion for that name.

    I think it's a clever play on words (Long Islance Expressway), but more importantly it highlights the aggressive nature of your team.

    I also think there's some cool logo potential for the name: Think of a NY backdrop made out of stacks of poker chips with a road coming out of it, with the name Expressraise forming the median or something like that. If I was any good with artistic stuff on a computer I'd try and give you a sample, but it'd just end up looking like crap if I did it. Anyone out there wanna give it a shot?

    I also think it incorporates both NY City and Long Island, and emphasizes the connection between the two, which is important because the team will be representing both for years to come.

    So yeah, there's a couple reasons why I like the LIExpressraise.

    Edit: Also, if you have jersey's, think of the logo I described on the front with a yellow dashed line down the middle of the back. Makes for good promotional material!
