  2. Fold. Best case scenario is youre racing 2 overs.
  3. Fold....wild chief is the only player that cannot enter a pot without getting all his chips in......u can afford to raise/fold......wouldn't put my own chips in until shortstacked or sure i was ahead.....and because your going to fold these nines anyway to a reraise u should only raise 3 times the bb or less

  4. reads?

    w/o reads snap call most of the time its an under pair, if he overlimped a monster good for him

    NOT THIS ...

    This is a muck with your 99...you really want to race the only person that can bust you right here?...what are you really thinking he has?...best case scenario is a big ace race...unless you run like Usain Bolt, instafold please and don't think twice...you'll get better spots later...
  6. prolly my biggest leak i call here all day and twice on sundays.Without a real solid read that said raiser is a nit
  7. fold
  8. He limped behind a limper and then reraised all in to your raise? Smells fishy...he's probably got a smaller pair and doesn't want to see a flop anymore or decided his A10 was close to sooted and shoved.

    I probably call...

    i either run like usain bolt or you just suck
  10. So funny didn't like my raise pre, any more thoughts on that. As for reads; it really goes both ways. He had been limping loose a lot, and I had been popping him preflop because of it. Is this really a bad raise? -- I figured to have the best hand vs limper/overlimper and didn't want to play out of position, any less is inviting calls I think?

    FWIW, I've never been called out on my stats, but I wouldn't care because I'm getting better. I don't think my OPR and sharkscope (on stars) are really indicative of the way I play NOW.

    That said, you get used to people like him talking shit and calling out stats, even if it's explicitly against the forum rules. Stick around for awhile, this place is getting better, slowly but surely. Check out the Hand Advice forum, it's getting a ton more traffic lately.

    wow cant take constructive criticism, you knocked my logic and obviously didn't read my response at all for asking what is the best case scenario, you see 33-88 sooooooooooo much here. This is a huge leak in your game, im never never never folding 99 5 handed to an overlimp shove.

    to the OP, I play it the exact same way, raise size is good, snap call, fade the 2 outer
  14. Your lips were moving and I didn't hear a thing...morons like yourself will gamble out and die...no problems for me....degenerate losers like yourself will eventually fail...btw my results lately are improving...but studs like yourself don't take the time to rationally explain your thought process here before pulling someone's stats that isn't a pro....wp douche and many failed tournies in your future you punk kid...
  15. i don't play these often anymore, but we're snap folding 99 5-handed to an overlimp/shove?

    i'm pretty sure i think for a bit, but call.
  16. As he played it, I think you have to give him credit for a big hand. He clearly limped hoping for a PF raise. You're flipping at best.

    I fold.

    What do you think about completing the blind?
  17. lol @ this thread. im turbo clicking where the call button pops up as soon as i jack it up. if this wasn't my plan then i prob limp behind, set, and rake.

    cliff notes: raise folding is weak
  18. note to self, overlimp/shove on FT bubble in the future will get a lot of respeck
  19. am i the only one who snap calls this? its 5 handed and i dont think a guys gonna limp 1010+ after someone already limped so im fairly confident worst case scenario your flipping as a slight favorite getting pretty good odds...ur raise looks like a squeeze attempt lookin to pick up a pot on the bubble and ur range is fairly wide depending on how aggressivly u had been playing and then i think the reshove range can be just as wide like 22+, a5+, k10+ ive seen all of these in 4.40s
  20. i guess all these threads about poker being all luck and countless 3 and 4 betting have made people uber nits

    With the biggest hands included (AA, KK, AQs+ and AKo don't overlimp like this like ever)

    equity win tie pots won pots tied
    Hand 0: 56.369% 55.87% 00.50% 1153644864 10394160.00 { 99 }
    Hand 1: 43.631% 43.13% 00.50% 890605440 10394160.00 { 22+, A5s+, KTs+, QJs, A9o+, KJo+ }

    Without those hands

    equity win tie pots won pots tied
    Hand 0: 59.265% 58.70% 00.56% 1019259000 9752028.00 { 99 }
    Hand 1: 40.735% 40.17% 00.56% 697513200 9752028.00 { QQ-22, AJs-A5s, KTs+, QJs, AQo-A9o, KJo+ }
  21. Lemme be clear; I'm only folding for monetary expected value. You can't bust in front of the other guy. But sloth has this absolutely right: you have to have a gameplan before you raise. If you would fold to his shove, you might as well limp behind. The last thing you want to do is stick out 15% of stack and then have no idea if you're losing value by folding or losing the tourney by calling.

  22. I call in this spot but i'm not very good. I think more often then not you're seeing 22-77. People are going to reraise TT+, AQ+ from my experience.
  23. I feel like i ask this in every 2nd thread, but reads?

    Has he been active, dominating the FT bubble, done this before, been really weak-tight, PT stats, anything??

    Readless i snapcall here, his range primarily consists of mid PPs (all of which we dominate) and connected/semi-connected paint. It is not a good spot to look for a limp-shove w a big hand, as there is only one stack behind that is desperate.

    I dont think I have ever seen QQ+ here, who wants to play these at least 3 way on the FT bubble?!
  24. ok now that feelings have been hurt and we have come to a conclusion, results please!!!!!!!
  25. I timebanked and called. He showed QQ. GG.

    Funny - plan had been to fold to original raiser (who had been tightish) and I hadn't seen this guy overlimp/reraise. He had been overlimping weak, so I wanted to take the pot preflop.

    Djk - The guy limping loose was the only read I had. He hadn't limp/reraised me, but I had popped his limps before (always with raise worthy hands, but it had to look fishy to him).

  26. great squeeze bet, and given the level of competition I think you have to fold here. I have seen guys over limp big pairs in this field and I hate to limit his range to only super-premiums but because the big blind is a small stack I think he's baiting. I fold. If you stack off, I don't blame you.

    edit- saw that you posted the result after I posted, gg man. That's a tough spot.
