Hi all,
I have been member of P5 for a while now but I never took advantage of this wonderful forum.I have finally decided to do the right thing and seek advice in order to improve my game.So here I go -
I guess this is a standard hand but I would appreciate any feedback I can get.
More than my play ,I want to know if the villains play is justified here moving in with AQ from EP having 22-23 BBs.
Also comments about my play are welcome too but I think its a standard move.

Well, like you said, it's a fairly standard hand. (For that level, and the poor play)
Him shoving is pretty bad. He's really only getting called by hands that have him beat or crushed. But, players at lower levels seem to do this quite a bit with AQ and especially AK.
I don't think your play was horrible, but it's possible you could have folded and waited until you found a better spot to commit your chips. He's only leaving you with one decision for the hand. Can't do a Stop-N-Go, and you also had the original raiser to act behind you. -
I personally dont like shoving more than 20 bbs here vs a utg raiser, and im friends with herbhealsme too. i was suprised to see him make this shove when i saw it. Jbock is also on the tighter side regards to opening pre. Just ul win the flip next time like u always so vs me :-). Would like to hear what LAG regs say about up to how many bbs they are shoving with aq here
- The Lab rat -
I think I can comfortably take the roll of "what a LAG reg thinks" and I think it's pretty awful. Then again, I think you might be better off asking someone from the Maven/Ari/Subiime crew what they think of this shove, since I'm sure they would view this as standard even if said villain showed up with Q5s or something. It's a pretty brutal over-shove imo, but I say if there was <2 minutes left in 250/500/50 and it was about to go to 300/600/75 it would be pretty standard. As for DR.G, you clearly aren't reading that this is (unless I'm mistaken) the late-night $75 on FTP, which is actually not really a low-stake donkament, so expecting shitty play isn't really the norm. As for OP, it's standard from all accounts pretty much, obviously a very laggy move from the villain and a standard call on you're part, UL, run better next time.
