can anyone help me become a poker player that plays to win and keep a good bankroll? i have tried many times to keep increasing it butit is like i go on goood runs then blow it all on bad runs....its like i dunno what i should do to set rules when im playing and how i should go about starting to create a bankroll...right now i am playing .25/.50 on UB, party and PStars....and stud is usually my bread and butter at UB and holdem the other two....so if anyone has any advice i would love to chat through email or even aim....im really trying to pursue poker as a career even though i am going to college i try to play at least 40hrs a week.....live or online
so hit me up! -

If you play 40 hours a week on .5 1 and cant build a bankroll quit poker. I started with 50 and got it up to 1000 in two weeks multitabling .5 1. by far the easiest game on party

horryclutch, nice name need a different one for poker though....well i do play .50/1 and then i get it up but then there is like stretches of days where i lose with monsters to bullshit, if you are so succesful at .5/1, what are the type of hands you play, and when do you quit for being ahead and quit for being down in a session?? im sure i play all better hands then you and dont chase as much as you...so thats probably another reason why you built ur bankroll so fast....i use to have a bankroll to play 200 and 400 NL on party on a daily basis but i used a lot of money on things i wnated and needed...and just trying to rebuild the bankroll again....i sometimes make $1000 in a week - because i increase my bankroll and play bigger limits...then there is a week i lose $1000....im trying to be consistently winning on a monthly basis....not just like 400-500 i want thousands a month.....ive also learned to bonus whore but it takes a lot of time...so its not the fact i cant win and make money...its the fact i think i am moving up to higher limits when i shouldn't and don't know when to move up and when to say at a limit and make money....ya know what i am saying??
thanks for anyone who wants to help -
