  1. I am trying to fix huge leak in my game and recently I find myself getting into trouble alot with AK,AQ ep (UTG and +1). Doesn't matter if it's online or live tourney I just seem to think I have the best hand and raise 3x but end up getting looked up from lp with junk. Of course they hit and I'm doomed. I try to play pretty tight and usually like to have at least > 20xbb throughout the tourney. Any thoughts on how I can improve my play?
  2. Well how are you playing those hands after the flop? Are you always c-betting? Have you tried checking the flop betting the turn? etc... If you raise 3x and miss the flop, there is no shame on folding to a raise. Or if they bet light you can float it, etc.
  3. Yes I usually cbet then I'm lost if they call. Check the turn and end up folding or shove. I guess I have a hard time laying it down after I miss.

  4. Try checking if you totally miss, if they check bet the turn no matter what card falls. I've found people fold to that a good portion of the time. But if you c-bet and they call, you don't have to just give up on the hand, but at this point it becomes read dependant and how the player has been playing up to that point. You could always float their bet and re-evaluat on the turn, etc. But folding isn't a horrible play, after all, its not a made hand.
